The amazing DRACO 2.0m is one of the most highly-engineered, detailed and feature-rich RC models ever produced. Beyond its complex design and the accurate shape of its fully-moulded, lightweight and durable EPO airframe with a factory-applied finish, it also features an abundance of Extra Scale details including a variety of surface features, steps, antennas, wingtip "stinger" skids, and much more. The clear windshield and windows offer an excellent view of the detailed cockpit with pilot figure and backlit instrument panel. There are also a total of 17 LEDs throughout the airframe — with a custom controller that allows you to select solid, strobing and other light combination options from your transmitter. Oversized, tundra-style tyres on the custom-made carbon fibre main gear soak up bumps and provide excellent prop clearance, while the shock-absorbing and steerable tailwheel offers improved ground handling — even when taxiing backward with the optional-use motor reversing (compatible Smart receiver and 7+ channel transmitter required for reversing).

- What is SAFE Select and can I turn it off if I don't want it? — SAFE Select is an optional Spektrum flight envelope protection system that, when enabled via a transmitter switch, limits the aircraft's pitch and bank angles to realistic values and provides automatic self-levelling if you release the control stick. This makes the aircraft more forgiving of control input errors and helps prevent overcontrol. You can completely disable SAFE Select by simply binding your receiver normally without activating SAFE in your transmitter setup – in this case only AS3X stabilisation will be active, giving you pure manual control with gyro assistance.
- How long does assembly take and do I need special tools? — The DRACO 2.0m is designed for quick field assembly with no special tools required. The two-piece wing is secured with simple quarter-turn thumbscrews, and the V2 hands-free servo connections speed up setup further. The magnetically-secured top hatch provides quick access to the battery compartment. The aircraft can be flight-ready in less time than it takes to charge a battery – typically just 10–15 minutes from box to flying field. However, you should allow time to familiarise yourself with the assembly process and check all connections before your first flight.
- What materials is the DRACO 2.0m constructed from and how durable is it? — The airframe is constructed from fully-moulded EPO (expanded polystyrene) foam with carbon fibre and wood reinforcement throughout the structure. This combination provides an excellent balance of weight, strength and impact resistance. EPO is more durable than many alternative materials and can handle rough-field operations and impacts from takeoffs and landings on unprepared surfaces. The custom carbon fibre main landing gear with oversized tundra-style tyres and shock-equipped tailwheel are specifically engineered to absorb the stresses of bush-plane operations.
- What LED lighting options are available and how do I control them? — The aircraft includes 17 total integrated LED modules including navigation lights, landing lights, downward-facing lights, tail beacon and reversing lights. These are controlled by an adjustable light controller that allows you to select from multiple solid, strobing and combination lighting modes directly from your transmitter. - Does the DRACO 2.0m come with a transmitter, battery or charger? — The DRACO 2.0m BNF Basic version does not include a transmitter, battery or charger. BNF (Bind-and-Fly) means the aircraft comes with the receiver pre-installed, but you must supply your own compatible Spektrum transmitter, LiPo battery and charger. This approach allows experienced modellers to use equipment they already own or to select exactly the transmitter and battery setup that suits their needs and budget. We want to make sure your delivery goes smoothly, so here are some important details about our service:
- For orders above £120, we offer delivery to most mainland UK addresses. For orders under £120, we can still deliver to Northern Ireland and the outlying isles, as long as the item can be sent by Royal Mail, weighs less than 30kg, and fits within 61cm × 46cm × 46cm. Some highland and remote areas may carry an extra delivery charge as couriers often apply surcharges in these locations. If you live in one of these areas, feel free to contact us before ordering so we can confirm the delivery options and costs for you.
- Most of our products include delivery in the price. If your order is under £90, a small delivery fee will apply but do not worry this will always be clearly shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- Depending on what you choose at checkout, your order will usually be delivered either the next working day or within 2 working days. For next day delivery please place your order before 2:00pm. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday only. Some items may take a little longer and if that is the case we will always show the expected delivery time on the product page.
- If your order includes items with different dispatch times we will normally wait and send everything together once all items are in stock. If one of the items is going to take a while we will give you the choice either wait for everything to arrive or let us send the available items now and deliver the rest later. It is up to you.
- We use trusted delivery partners to make sure your order gets to you safely and on time. We use DPD for next working day deliveries and Royal Mail for the 2 day option.
- As soon as your order is on its way we will send you a tracking number by email. If you provide your mobile number at checkout we will also send delivery updates straight to your phone so you can keep an eye on progress.
- If a product is marked as "Dispatched within 3 working days" delivery usually takes around 3 to 5 working days from when your order is placed.
- For customers in Inverness and other parts of the Scottish Highlands deliveries can take up to 2 working days even if you select next day delivery as couriers do not currently offer a guaranteed next day service to those areas.
