Pro Boat achieves several exciting firsts with this large-scale, ready-to-run deep-V. It's the first boat of its size in the history of RC to have self-righting capabilities. It's also the first Pro Boat model to enhance its awesome looks with underwater LEDs.

The Super Sonicwake 48 is the latest member of a deep-V family that began with the powerful Sonicwake 36. That boat's incredible performance made it the most popular model in the Pro Boat lineup. So if bigger means better, then get ready. The Super Sonicwake 48 is about to blow all others out of the water with the best features, the best performance, AND the largest size.

The Super Sonicwake 48 has a factory-installed Spektrum 8S brushless power system capable of producing 50+ mph speeds. Independent water-cooling systems for the motor and ESC keep your hard-working electronics at safe operating temperatures. Depending on which recommended LiPo battery option you use, you can maximize speed or extend run time. The innovative Pro Boat SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) battery installation system lets you exchange packs in just a matter of seconds.

Despite its impressive size, those and other features make the Super Sonicwake 48 convenient to operate and easy to maintain. The thick ABS hull hangs tough through big jumps and rough waters. If the breakaway rudder strikes a rock or other hard object, it rotates up to minimize any hull or hardware damage. The canopy attaches with quick 1/4 turn latches, making it fast and easy to remove with no risk of stripping screws.

The Super Sonicwake 48 adds fresh graphics to the popular styling of the smaller Sonicwake. As it cuts through the water, underwater LEDs at the transom illuminate its wake with splashes of light. Day or night, this is the ultimate RC boating experience!

Because of its speed and size, the Super Sonicwake 48 is best suited for very large ponds and lakes. Still, driving safely and comfortably from the water's edge is worry-free. If the boat flips, it will self-right. A battery power level indicator on the Spektrum DX3 transmitter lets you know when you should return to shore.

Pro Boat pushes the envelope again! The Super Sonicwake 48 8S BL RTR deep-V is the largest RC boat ever to include self-righting capabilities. Punch the throttle and power across large lakes and ponds with no worries. If the boat flips over away from shore, it quickly recovers on its own and continues full speed ahead.

Measuring a dominating four feet long, the Super Sonicwake 48 can easily handle the chop of big lakes and ponds. Due to its impressive size and speeds, this deep-V is best suited for larger bodies of water - where 1:1 boaters can have a blast driving it from the comfort of their full-size craft!

SPEKTRUM 8S BRUSHLESS POWER SYSTEM

The included Spektrum DX3 transmitter and SR315 receiver provide the range and reliability you need for running on large bodies of water. Thanks to the transmitter's Smart on-board battery power level indicator, you'll always know when it's time to bring in your Super Sonicwake 48 to avoid being stranded.

SPEKTRUM DX3 SMART DSMR 2.4GHz RADIO

Send your Super Sonicwake 48 screaming across the water at 50+ mph speeds, while anything behind is left boiling in your wake! Its high-powered Spektrum brushless system includes a Firma 160A Smart Brushless ESC and 4685 950Kv 4-Pole Brushless Marine Motor. Just add your choice of the recommended LiPo batteries to maximize speed or run time.

SSL BATTERY INSTALLATION

The easy-to-use SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) system lets you mount your batteries in a tray outside of the boat, instead of working in a confined space. Then just slide the tray into the hull, where it locks into place. Battery installation takes only seconds! Pro Boat includes an additional set of large trays to fit up to 10,000+ mAh battery packs.

THICK & DURABLE ABS HULL

With its thick ABS hull, the Super Sonicwake 48 has the durability needed to withstand even the biggest jumps and roughest waters. It has the same awesome deep-V styling as the popular Pro Boat Sonicwake 36, but with a striking new graphics scheme that's all its own.

DUAL WATER-COOLING PICKUP

To keep the hard-working electronics located inside your Super Sonicwake 48 from overheating in the summer sun, Pro Boat uses a dual water pickup rudder to send cool water flowing around the motor and ESC through independent water-cooling systems.

BREAKAWAY RUDDER PROTECTION

One of the quickest ways to end an afternoon of RC boating fun is to accidentally strike something hidden in the water with your vessel's rudder. The Super Sonicwake 48 eliminates this worry with its breakaway rudder design. The rudder simply rotates up if it hits a solid object, minimizing the chance of hull or hardware damage.

UNDERWATER LED LIGHTS

As the Super Sonicwake 48 streaks across the lake at dusk, super-bright underwater LEDs located at the transom ignite your wake with splashes of light. The included lighting system is another first for Pro Boat!

WATERPROOF RECEIVER BOX

The exposed metal pins of an RC boat's receiver make it especially vulnerable to damage if water enters the hull. The Super Sonicwake 48 has an improved waterproof receiver box that keeps your most important piece of electronic equipment safe and secure. The receiver stays dry through multiple seasons for a trouble-free radio connection.

QUICK 1/4 TURN CANOPY LATCHES

The Super Sonicwake 48 comes outfitted with upgrades right at the start! These quick 1/4 turn canopy latches let you take the canopy on and off as quickly as possible without worrying about stripping screws. Seals on both the inside and outside surfaces minimize the chance for water to leak into the boat.

STUFFING TUBE GREASE CATCH

Nothing is worse than having too little grease on the flexshaft - but too often, any excess grease winds up making a mess inside of your boat's hull. The Super Sonicwake 48 has a grease catch that confines the excess within a small area for removal. You can easily keep the inside of your boat looking clean and fresh.

FREE-FLOATING PROP STRUT BUSHING

This completely free-floating bushing lets you grease just the prop strut with a quick and easy port. Simply remove the screw. Grease flows through the prop strut and stuffing tube, while holes in the bushing keep the grease right where it needs to be.

For orders above £120, we offer delivery to most mainland UK addresses. For orders under £120, we can still deliver to Northern Ireland and the outlying isles, as long as the item can be sent by Royal Mail, weighs less than 30kg, and fits within 61cm × 46cm × 46cm. Some highland and remote areas may carry an extra delivery charge as couriers often apply surcharges in these locations. If you live in one of these areas, feel free to contact us before ordering so we can confirm the delivery options and costs for you.
Most of our products include delivery in the price. If your order is under £90, a small delivery fee will apply but do not worry this will always be clearly shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Depending on what you choose at checkout, your order will usually be delivered either the next working day or within 2 working days. For next day delivery please place your order before 2:00pm. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday only. Some items may take a little longer and if that is the case we will always show the expected delivery time on the product page.
If your order includes items with different dispatch times we will normally wait and send everything together once all items are in stock. If one of the items is going to take a while we will give you the choice either wait for everything to arrive or let us send the available items now and deliver the rest later. It is up to you.
We use trusted delivery partners to make sure your order gets to you safely and on time. We use DPD for next working day deliveries and Royal Mail for the 2 day option.
As soon as your order is on its way we will send you a tracking number by email. If you provide your mobile number at checkout we will also send delivery updates straight to your phone so you can keep an eye on progress.
If a product is marked as "Dispatched within 3 working days" delivery usually takes around 3 to 5 working days from when your order is placed.
For customers in Inverness and other parts of the Scottish Highlands deliveries can take up to 2 working days even if you select next day delivery as couriers do not currently offer a guaranteed next day service to those areas.
