This speed is crucial for precision flying and recovery from difficult flight attitudes.
- High Voltage Capable (6.0-8.4v Input Range) — The servo operates across a wide voltage range, with full performance specifications achievable at 8.4 volts. This flexibility allows you to optimise your power system for maximum torque and speed when needed, or dial back voltage for specific applications whilst maintaining robust servo functionality.
- All-Metal Gear Train with Tight Meshing — The low-wear, tightly meshed metal gears ensure smooth, consistent operation without backlash or slop. Metal gearing is far superior to plastic alternatives, resisting wear from high-torque applications and maintaining precision over hundreds of flight hours.
- Dual Bearing Supported Drive Train — The drive train is supported by dual bearings that distribute load evenly and maximise smooth operation. This engineering approach reduces friction, minimises wear, and ensures your servo maintains peak performance even after extended use in demanding applications.
- Aluminium Servo Case — The aircraft-grade aluminium case helps keep operating temperatures low by efficiently dissipating heat generated during high-torque operations. Lower operating temperatures mean longer servo lifespan and more consistent performance, particularly during extended flights or rapid successive manoeuvres.
- Soft Start Protection — The intelligent soft start system prevents component and airframe damage during unintentional initialisations, protecting your expensive aircraft and radio system from sudden power surges or accidental servo movements that could cause structural damage.
- Over Current and Temperature Protection — Integrated protection circuitry monitors servo current draw and temperature, automatically protecting the servo from damage due to jam conditions or excessive heat buildup. This safeguarding allows you to fly with confidence, knowing your servo won't fail catastrophically under stressed conditions.
- Integrated Servo Failsafe — If signal is lost whilst power is maintained, the A6350 automatically holds the last known position. This critical safety feature prevents your aircraft from entering an uncontrollable dive or stall, giving you precious seconds to regain signal or execute a safe recovery.
- Helpful Initialisation Start Tone — An audible tone confirms when the servo is ready for operation, letting you know the servo has completed its initialisation sequence safely and is prepared for flight. This simple feature eliminates uncertainty and prevents accidental servo movements before the aircraft is ready to fly.
- Operating Frequency Range (200hz to 333hz) — The servo supports multiple operating frequencies, allowing compatibility with various RC radio systems and giving you flexibility in configuring your aircraft's control system to match your radio protocol and preference.
Technical Performance
The Spektrum A6350 represents a leap forward in servo engineering, combining brushless motor technology with a tightly meshed all-metal gear train to deliver performance that matches or exceeds significantly larger servos. At 8.4 volts, the A6350 produces an impressive 61.4 kg-cm of torque with a response time of just 0.095 seconds per 60 degrees of movement—performance specifications that place it at the top of the standard servo size category. The brushless motor design eliminates the brush wear inherent in traditional brushed servo motors, significantly extending operational life and maintaining consistent performance throughout the servo's service lifespan. The dual bearing supported drive train ensures that torque delivery remains smooth and consistent, with minimal friction loss and maximum power transmission to your control surfaces.
The aluminium servo case is engineered to dissipate heat efficiently during sustained high-torque operations, keeping internal temperatures down and protecting delicate electronic components from thermal damage. The servo operates across the full HV (High Voltage) range from 6.0 to 8.4 volts, with full torque and speed specifications achievable at maximum voltage. When operating at lower voltages within the compatible range, the servo continues to function reliably, though with slightly reduced torque and speed—useful for applications where you want to reduce power consumption or servo load. The tightly meshed all-metal gear train resists backlash and wear from repeated high-torque cycles, maintaining precision and responsiveness even after hundreds of flight hours in demanding applications. Advanced protection circuitry guards against over-current conditions that might arise from jammed control surfaces, whilst temperature monitoring prevents thermal damage from extended high-load operation. The integrated failsafe feature ensures your aircraft maintains control surface position if radio signal is lost, a critical safety feature for any aircraft, but particularly important for large-scale models where loss of control could result in catastrophic structural failure or injury.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Spektrum A6350 suitable for giant-scale and 3D aircraft? — Yes, absolutely. The A6350 is specifically engineered for giant-scale, 3D, and high-performance jet models. Its exceptional torque output of 61.4 kg-cm and rapid response time of 0.095 seconds per 60 degrees make it ideal for aircraft with large control surfaces or demanding aerobatic requirements. The brushless motor and all-metal gear train provide the reliability and durability these demanding applications require.
- What voltage does the A6350 require, and is it compatible with my battery? — The A6350 operates across a High Voltage range of 6.0 to 8.4 volts. This typically means a 2S LiPo battery (7.4 volts nominal, up to 8.4 volts fully charged) is ideal for achieving full torque and speed specifications. Some users also employ 3S LiPo batteries, though this is above the official maximum rating. Always verify your power system matches the servo's voltage requirements before installation.
- How does the A6350 compare to other Spektrum standard-size servos? — The A6350 sits at the top of Spektrum's standard servo lineup. Compared to models like the A6330 (which offers 71 kg-cm torque at 8.4v but with different speed characteristics) or the A6320 (which provides mid-range performance), the A6350 focuses on the combination of ultra-high torque with exceptional speed. The brushless motor design of the A6350 also eliminates brush wear, offering longer service life than traditional brushed alternatives at comparable price points.
- Does the servo failsafe really work, and how does it protect my aircraft? — Yes, the integrated servo failsafe is a genuine safety feature. When radio signal is lost while servo power is maintained, the failsafe immediately holds the servo in its last known position. For aircraft control surfaces like elevator, aileron, or rudder, this prevents uncontrolled movement that could cause a dive, spin, or loss of control. This feature is particularly valuable for expensive large-scale aircraft where loss of control could result in structural damage or injury.
- What makes the brushless motor better than a brushed motor servo? — Brushless motors eliminate the carbon brushes found in traditional brushed motors. These brushes wear down with use, eventually reducing servo performance and eventually requiring replacement. Brushless motors use electronic commutation instead, resulting in zero brush wear, extended operational life, more consistent performance over time, and typically lower maintenance requirements. For demanding applications like 3D flying or giant-scale aircraft, the superior longevity of brushless technology provides excellent value.
- Is the A6350 programmable through a Spektrum radio? — The source material indicates the A6350 is a standard servo without mention of programmable functionality. However, it is compatible with Spektrum radio systems that use standard servo connectors. For programming capabilities, you would want to verify with Spektrum support or consult your specific radio system documentation.
- How quickly does the servo respond to control input? — The A6350 responds in just 0.095 seconds per 60 degrees of movement at 8.4 volts. To put this in perspective, this means the servo moves through its full range of motion (typically 90-120 degrees) in roughly 0.15 to 0.20 seconds, making it suitable for rapid control adjustments required in 3D flying or situations demanding immediate control surface response.
- What protection does the servo have against damage? — The A6350 includes soft start protection to prevent damage during unintentional initialisation, over-current protection to guard against jammed control surfaces, and temperature protection to prevent thermal damage from sustained high-load operation. These features work together to safeguard your investment and prevent catastrophic servo failure during demanding flights.
