Overview
The RadioLink SE100 GPS with GPX Holder (RLKA001003) is a compact and lightweight GPS unit designed specifically for RC enthusiasts who need precise positioning and navigation capabilities for their RC models. Whether you're flying an RC drone, operating an RC car UK-based, or any other remote-controlled vehicle that benefits from GPS tracking and waypoint navigation, the SE100 delivers professional-grade functionality in a format that won't compromise your model's weight distribution or aerodynamics. This GPS module is engineered for users who demand accuracy without the bulk, making it an ideal choice for competitive racers, serious hobbyists, and anyone looking to add autonomous navigation features to their RC setup.
What sets the RadioLink SE100 apart in the marketplace is its thoughtful design approach. Rather than simply providing a bare GPS unit, RadioLink has included a purpose-designed GPX holder that ensures secure, tidy mounting. This integrated solution demonstrates an understanding of real-world RC applications where space is at a premium and a clean installation is essential. The holder keeps your GPS module protected and precisely positioned, reducing vibration and ensuring consistent performance whether you're operating in the UK or further afield. For anyone investing in ready to run RC vehicles or building custom setups, the SE100 represents excellent value and professional capability.
The SE100 is particularly well-suited to installations where every gram matters and visual aesthetics count. Its ultra-compact footprint and minimal weight make it compatible with lightweight RC platforms that would struggle with heavier GPS solutions. The included holder ensures that once mounted, your GPS unit stays secure through even aggressive manoeuvres and rough terrain, whilst maintaining the clean appearance that serious RC builders appreciate.
Key Features
- Compact low-profile design — At just 15mm in height and 50mm diameter, the SE100 is exceptionally small and unobtrusive, allowing it to fit into tight spaces on your RC model without interfering with other components or affecting aesthetics.
- Ultra-lightweight construction — Weighing only 34 grams, this GPS unit adds minimal mass to your RC vehicle, which is crucial for maintaining speed, manoeuvrability and flight time on any RC platform.
- Dedicated GPX holder included — Rather than loose mounting, you get a purpose-designed holder that keeps your GPS module secure, protected from impact and vibration, and neatly positioned for optimal signal reception.
- Professional GPS accuracy — The SE100 provides precise position tracking and waypoint navigation capabilities that rival much larger and heavier GPS units, delivering the accuracy serious RC operators demand.
- Simple installation — The straightforward holder design makes mounting quick and hassle-free, whether you're installing it on a custom build or adding it to an existing ready to run RC setup.
- Robust construction — Engineered to withstand the vibration, impact and environmental challenges of active RC operation, the SE100 is built to last through countless flights, races and adventures.
Technical Performance
The RadioLink SE100 GPS module represents a masterclass in miniaturisation without compromise on performance. At 34 grams, this unit is light enough to integrate into weight-sensitive RC models whilst maintaining the GPS accuracy and responsiveness required for autonomous navigation, position hold and waypoint-following features. The low-profile 15mm height ensures minimal interference with aerodynamic designs or mechanical components, whilst the 50mm diameter provides a compact footprint that fits neatly into confined spaces. The engineering prioritises practical usability; the included GPX holder is not merely an afterthought but a carefully considered mounting solution that protects the module, reduces vibration-related signal interference and provides a clean, professional installation aesthetic. The unit's compact nature makes it ideal for applications ranging from FPV racing drones to autonomous RC car platforms and beyond. For builders who demand both cutting-edge functionality and minimal physical impact on their models, the SE100 delivers exceptional value and capability.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the RadioLink SE100 GPS module used for? — The SE100 is a professional-grade GPS unit designed for RC vehicles including drones, RC cars, boats and other remote-controlled platforms. It provides precise position tracking, waypoint navigation and autonomous flight/drive capabilities. The GPS data helps you track your RC model's location, record flight paths via GPX files and enable intelligent navigation features on compatible RC systems.
- How heavy is the SE100 and will it affect my RC model's performance? — At just 34 grams, the SE100 is exceptionally lightweight. For most RC applications, adding 34g has minimal impact on overall performance. However, for ultra-lightweight builds or weight-sensitive applications, you should verify that the addition fits within your model's weight budget. The lightweight design means that even relatively small RC platforms can accommodate this GPS unit without significant performance degradation.
- What does the GPX holder do and why is it important? — The GPX holder is a dedicated mounting bracket included with the SE100 that secures the GPS module to your RC model. It keeps the unit protected from impact and vibration, ensures consistent positioning for optimal signal reception and enables a clean, professional installation. Rather than mounting a bare GPS unit, the holder provides peace of mind that your investment is secure and precisely positioned.
- How small is the SE100 really? — The SE100 measures just 15mm in height and 50mm in diameter, making it one of the most compact GPS solutions available. This low-profile design allows integration into tight spaces on RC models including racing drones, compact racing buggies and other space-constrained builds where larger GPS units simply won't fit.
- Is the SE100 suitable for beginners? — The SE100 is suitable for any RC user who needs GPS functionality. However, it is not a complete flight controller or navigation system on its own—it requires integration with a compatible RC system that supports GPS modules. Beginners should verify that their RC controller or flight computer is compatible with RadioLink GPS modules before purchasing.
- What RC systems and models is the SE100 compatible with? — The SE100 is designed as a RadioLink GPS module and integrates with RadioLink control systems and compatible third-party platforms that support standard GPS protocols. You should verify compatibility with your specific RC system before purchasing. Contact RC Model Shop if you need clarification on whether your equipment is compatible.
