Technical Performance
The FC6250HX represents a substantial leap forward in helicopter stabilisation system design. At its heart lies a sophisticated 6-axis M.E.M.S. inertial gyro that continuously measures the helicopter's attitude across all axes, feeding data to the powerful 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 processor running at high speed with integrated digital signal processing and floating-point calculations. This real-time processing of gyro data, combined with Spektrum's proprietary Advanced Adaptive Flight Control Algorithms, delivers the rock-solid tail holding and piro-compensation that defines a truly professional helicopter system. The vibration rejection is exceptional thanks to the precision-machined CNC aluminium lower case and high-quality dampening mounting pads, which isolate the sensitive inertial sensors from mechanical vibration that would otherwise degrade performance. The system operates from 3.5V to 8.4V, providing maximum flexibility in battery selection, and communicates with receivers via DSMX/DSM2 modulation at full remote range with 2048-bit resolution for crystal-clear servo resolution. The dual receiver ports support up to two receivers simultaneously with intelligent signal diversity, ensuring redundancy and reliability. With integrated telemetry via SRXL2 protocol, Smart ESC compatibility and comprehensive flight logging, the FC6250HX brings modern avionics-style monitoring to helicopter flying. The system is ready to accept both digital and analogue servos with user-selectable frequency from 70Hz to 560Hz, accommodating everything from vintage equipment to the latest high-speed servo technology. The engineering throughout emphasises reliability, with failsafe programming, sensor calibration capability and comprehensive forward programming features that put professional-grade tuning capability directly in the hands of pilots with compatible Spektrum transmitters.
