- 22ms and 11ms Frame Rate Support — The SPM9745 supports both standard and high-speed frame rates, offering flexibility depending on your specific aircraft requirements and control system configuration. This compatibility ensures smooth, responsive control regardless of your transmitter settings.
- MultiLink Path Diversity Technology — Spektrum's patented MultiLink technology enables the remote receiver to utilise multiple signal paths simultaneously, dramatically reducing the likelihood of signal loss due to reflections or polarisation issues. This technology is particularly valuable when flying at longer ranges or in environments with potential RF interference.
- Integrated Telemetry Support — The SPM9745 supports integrated telemetry when used with compatible main receivers and flight controllers, allowing you to monitor vital aircraft parameters in real-time from your transmitter. This adds an extra layer of safety and awareness during flight operations.
- Extended Installation Options — The package includes a 24-inch extension cable, and additional remote receiver extensions are available separately in 6-inch, 9-inch, 12-inch, 24-inch, and 36-inch lengths. This comprehensive range of options ensures you can position your remote receiver exactly where you need it for optimal signal reception, regardless of your aircraft's configuration.
- Lightweight and Compact Form Factor — At just 3 grams (0.1oz), the SPM9745 adds minimal weight to your aircraft, preserving flight characteristics and battery endurance. The compact dimensions of just 25.4mm length, 18.11mm width, and 7.52mm height make it easy to fit into even the most space-constrained installations.
- Upgrade Path for Existing Receivers — If you already own a Spektrum receiver with remote receiver ports, the SPM9745 provides an affordable way to add redundancy and enhance signal reception without requiring a complete system replacement. This makes it an excellent choice for competitive flyers or those seeking to improve their existing setups.
Technical Performance
The Spektrum SPM9745 operates on the 2.4GHz frequency band, the same standard used by all modern Spektrum DSMX and DSM2 systems, ensuring compatibility with your existing RC radio equipment. The receiver features robust engineering with an input voltage range of 3.3 to 8.4 volts, making it compatible with a wide variety of power sources commonly found in RC aircraft, from LiPo batteries to traditional NiMH packs. The receiver includes automatic failsafe functionality, a critical safety feature that ensures your aircraft enters a safe state (typically returning to neutral throttle and returning to home if equipped with autopilot) should the radio link be lost for any reason. The SRXL2 serial output protocol enables bi-directional communication with compatible flight controllers and Smart ESCs, providing superior data transfer speeds, enhanced security, and richer telemetry options compared to older protocols. This advanced communication standard allows for customised, responsive telemetry that can be precisely tailored to your specific flying needs and equipment configuration. The remote receiver's integrated antenna design eliminates the need for external wire antennas that could be damaged during handling or installation, whilst maintaining full performance across the complete control range. With its lightweight construction and compact footprint, the SPM9745 represents the modern standard in remote receiver design for serious RC aircraft pilots in the UK and beyond.
