Overview
The UMX™ Ultrix™ is a smooth handling, extremely versatile delta wing with aerobatic and 3D capabilities that you might not expect based on its looks alone. The twin brushless motors deliver an incredible power to weight ratio that offers good speed, plenty of power to hover and unlimited vertical performance. Differential thrust adds the ability to perform harriers, flat spins and more amazing aerobatics. And extremely durable EPP construction makes this one of the toughest ultra micro models yet. The Ultrix handles windy conditions well, aided by exclusive AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization - 3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence for a locked-in feel - it's like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) Select technology makes the Ultrix easy enough for low-time pilots to enjoy, and the ultra micro size and lightweight construction are suited for flying almost anywhere. Skilled pilots can cut loose indoors in a space as small as a single basketball court, while large yards, sports fields and RC fields make ideal outdoor flying sites for just about everyone. Fully factory-assembled, the Ultrix is ready to fly within minutes of opening the box. Just add an affordable 1S 500mAh battery (EFLB5001S25) and bind it to a compatible Spektrum™ DSMX®/DSM2® equipped transmitter! Bind-N-Fly Completion Level Advantage
Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!
This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver featuring AS3X (Artificial Stabilization-3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence. The result is a heightened sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like you're flying a much larger, expertly tuned aircraft.
If this is your first model of its type, or you want an extra margin of safety while familiarizing yourself with the airplane, you can enable the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope protection technology built into the receiver. No complex programming is required.
With SAFE Select enabled, you get:
Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
- These envelope limits keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles.
Automatic Self-Leveling
- The airplane instantly returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It's also helpful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.
Easy Switch Assignment
- The simple procedure for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off doesn't require any programming and takes just a few seconds.

Here are a few things you may need to know about our delivery service.
- Delivery is to mainland UK addresses only. Some areas in the highlands may incur extra delivery charges as couriers charge more for these deliveries. If you live in the highlands or any outlying regions, please contact us before placing your order to confirm if we offer delivery to your area or if there will be any additional charges.
- To keep our customers as safe as possible, we’re only able to deliver products to your doorstep. We’ve made sure that our drivers can comply with social distancing guidelines while completing deliveries by knocking on the customers’ door and waiting at least two meters away.
- Delivery is included in the price of most products unless stated otherwise. There will be an additional delivery charge for orders under £50. The charge will be shown on the checkout page.
- We will deliver your order using either a next working day delivery service or within 2 - 4 working days, depending on the service selected. For next working day delivery, the cut off time is 12pm and goods are dispatched on weekdays only.
- We request mainland UK customers requiring the next working day delivery service to place their order before 12pm.
- For next working day delivery, we use DPD local and for the 2 - 4 working days delivery service we use Myhermes.
- Once goods are dispatched, we will email you the tracking number for the parcel. Please provide a valid mobile number so we can add it to the consignment so you can also get updates on your mobile phone.
- On listings where the shipping time states “Dispatched within 3 working days” those orders will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days.
