Key Features

  • Built-in Data Logging Function — The XR10 Pro G3 features an internal data recording module capable of storing up to 19 groups of 20-minute data sessions, providing a total of 380 minutes of recorded performance data without requiring the OTA Bluetooth module to remain connected during operation. This allows you to capture detailed information including throttle position, voltage, current draw, temperature, motor RPM, vehicle speed and other critical parameters for later analysis.
  • Historical Record Data as Curve Graphs — After completing your runs, connect to the Hobbywing app to review stored data logs displayed as visual curve graphs, making it easy to identify performance trends, temperature spikes, voltage sag and acceleration characteristics. This graphical analysis helps drivers understand vehicle behaviour and make informed setup adjustments.
  • OTA Programmer Compatibility — The ESC supports the Hobbywing OTA (Over-The-Air) Programmer as well as the LCD Programmer Box Pro, providing multiple options for reading data logs and adjusting parameters. The OTA programmer allows wireless configuration without physical connectors.
  • Freewheeling Function with Reduced Operating Temperature — This advanced feature manages deceleration characteristics and overall operational efficiency to significantly reduce ESC temperature during use. Compared to the previous XR10 Pro G2S model, temperature is theoretically reduced by approximately 15 degrees Celsius during operation, dramatically improving consistency, reliability and lifespan, particularly under higher load applications typical of racing use.
  • Adjustable RPM Decrease Rate — Fine-tune deceleration response by adjusting how quickly motor RPM drops when throttle is released whilst freewheeling is enabled, enhancing cornering control and vehicle feel. Higher RPM decrease rates produce faster deceleration when the throttle is released, allowing drivers to customise brake behaviour to their preferences.
  • Disc Brake Mode with Close-Loop Control — This innovative brake control system creates brake output that is significantly more accurate and linear across all speeds, completely eliminating the non-linear braking force problems that commonly result from traditional braking methods influenced by vehicle speed changes. Disc brake mode also supports brake force curvature adjustment for fine-tuning brake bias feel, whilst traditional linear and legacy braking modes remain available.
  • Durable Frameless Fan Design — The frameless cooling fan features blades manufactured from special rigid materials, significantly increasing blade durability and overall ESC reliability. This innovative design reduces fan noise whilst maintaining excellent thermal performance.
  • Smart Fan Start-Stop Function — The fan automatically remains off during low-demand operation and activates automatically when ESC temperature rises and cooling becomes necessary. This intelligent function keeps the ESC within its optimal operational temperature range, reduces unnecessary power consumption and minimises noise when cooling is not required. The function can be disabled through parameter settings if preferred.
  • Dual Parameter Setting Modes — Two levels of parameter adjustment cater to different user expertise levels: a simplified 24-parameter basic mode for straightforward tuning, and an advanced 44-parameter mode providing complete access to all ESC settings for experienced drivers who demand maximum control over every aspect of performance.
  • Extensive Programmable Parameters (44 Total) — The ESC offers more than 44 programmable parameters designed to support a wide range of tuning requirements for virtually any driver's needs and preferences. Notable updated parameters include throttle and brake curvature, freewheeling control, disc brake settings, drag adjustment, brake frequency, boost timing, turbo timing and many others.
  • Softening 2.0 Technology — This optimised technology enhances driving force during the initial throttle phase, significantly improving drivability of high-powered vehicles without sacrificing overall speed potential. The result is more responsive initial acceleration with better smoothness and control.
  • Low Centre of Gravity Design — The ESC fan assembly features an improved lower centre of gravity design compared to the previous XR10 Pro G2S model, with overall height reduced by 2mm. This effectively lowers the centre of gravity, aiding vehicle balance. The fan assembly is fully detachable, allowing you to remove it entirely and further reduce the ESC's centre of gravity when external cooling is not required.
  • Optimised Cable Output Layout — The ESC layout has been carefully engineered for simplified wiring requirements specific to on-road applications whilst remaining compatible with off-road vehicle configurations. The included U-type connectors easily accommodate various wiring requirements including flat and diagonal soldering options.
  • Reverse Polarity Protection Circuit — The standard G3 version includes a built-in reverse connection protection circuit that effectively prevents damage to the ESC caused by accidental battery reverse connection. Note that whilst reverse connection of the battery will damage the polarity capacitor, the ESC itself will remain undamaged. This protection applies to the standard G3 version only; the G3X version does not include reverse voltage protection.
  • Adjustable BEC with High-Voltage Servo Support — An integrated switch-mode BEC provides reliable power for servo systems with peak output current of 10A and continuously adjustable output voltage ranging from 5.0V to 7.4V in 0.1V increments. This flexible voltage adjustment accommodates both high-torque and high-voltage servo requirements without additional equipment.
  • 13AWG Input and Output Wiring — The standard G3 version includes 13AWG gauge wiring (200mm length for both input and three output wires), providing excellent current-carrying capacity and reliability. The heavier gauge wire minimises voltage drop and heat generation during high-current operation.
  • First-Rate Motor Linearity — The V10 G3 motor combines a built-in high-precision Hall effect sensor with a high-precision, perfectly balanced rotor to guarantee remarkable linearity of throttle response and motor performance. This precision engineering ensures predictable, smooth power delivery without dead zones or sudden power steps.
  • Super Lightweight Motor Construction — The G3 motor weighs only 161g for the modified version, representing approximately 11% weight reduction compared to the V10 G2 motor. This lighter weight simplifies vehicle balance adjustment and contributes to improved handling characteristics.
  • Asymmetric Bearing Design — The front bearing size is increased by 26% compared to the V10 G2 to improve load-carrying capacity and stability, whilst the rear bearing is reduced by 6% to lower rotational resistance. This asymmetric design makes the motor run more stably and smoothly under all operating conditions.
  • Exceptional Heat Dissipation — The special motor shell design exposes the stator core directly to air for maximum cooling efficiency. Large perforations on the front and rear end plates guarantee outstanding heat dissipation, keeping the motor running cooler during extended use. This design is particularly effective for the 7.5T specification included in this combo.
  • Stepless Adjustable Mechanical Timing — Motor timing can be adjusted finely and smoothly with skid-proof lines at the rear end to guarantee timing stability after adjustment. This allows drivers to optimise performance for their specific setup and driving style.
  • Rebuilable Structure — The detachable motor design facilitates regular cleaning and maintenance, effectively prolonging motor service life and retaining performance efficiency over time. This is a key advantage for competitive racers who maintain their equipment regularly.
  • Two Different End Plate Options — The 7.5T motor comes with appropriate end plates, and additional end plates with different hole sizes are available for purchase, allowing users to switch between configurations optimised for on-road (large holes for maximum cooling) or off-road use (small holes for sand/dirt protection).
  • High-Quality Components — The motor uses high-performance stator core laminations, heat-resistant (200°C rated) pure copper wire, heat-resistant rotor with strong structure, internationally recognised top-brand high-precision bearings, and copper solder tabs with exceptional current endurance, ensuring excellent performance and great durability.
  • BRCA/EFRA Approved — Both the ESC and motor components comply with the regulatory standards of the British Radio Car Association and European Free Racing Association, confirming this combo is suitable for sanctioned racing events and competitions.
