The entire motor has been engineered with lightweight construction, professional-grade components, and thermal management that ensures consistent performance lap after lap, race after race.
If you're searching for a high-performance brushless motor for 1/10th scale RC on-road racing, or you want to upgrade your current setup with proven competition-grade hardware, the XERUN V10 G3 5T Black is exactly what you need. RC enthusiasts across the UK trust Hobbywing for motors that deliver results on the track.
Key Features
- Significantly Improved RPM Performance — The G3 Stock Spec motor delivers RPM that is notably higher than the previous generation, with torque and KV rating improved by 4% and 16% respectively compared with the V10 G2 Stock Spec motor, giving you a measurable performance advantage in competitive racing.
- Lightweight Construction — The G3 Modified motor weighs just 159 grams (compared to heavier previous generation models), with weight reduced by approximately 11% compared to the V10 G2 motor, allowing you to easily adjust vehicle balance and improve handling characteristics across different track conditions.
- High Precision Hall Sensor Technology — The built-in high precision Hall sensor combined with a precision-balanced rotor guarantees remarkable linearity of the motor, meaning your throttle response is smooth, predictable and consistent throughout the entire acceleration range, which is absolutely critical for competitive racing.
- Asymmetric Bearing Design — The front bearing has been increased in size by 26% for improved load-carrying capacity whilst the rear bearing is reduced by 6% for lower resistance, resulting in a motor that runs more stable and smooth under racing conditions.
- Superior Heat Dissipation — The special shell design exposes the stator core to open air, and the large holes machined into the front and rear end plates guarantee outstanding heat dissipation, keeping the motor running at optimal temperatures during extended racing sessions.
- Stepless Adjustable Mechanical Timing — The mechanical timing can be adjusted finely and smoothly from 20 to 50 degrees, with skid-proof lines at the rear end of the motor guaranteeing stability after adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune performance to suit your driving style and track conditions.
- Rebuildable and Maintainable Structure — The detachable structure design allows regular cleaning and maintenance, effectively prolonging service life and retaining efficiency, which is essential for keeping your racing equipment in peak condition.
- High-Quality Component Selection — Every component has been carefully selected: high-performance stator core laminations, heat-resistant pure copper wire rated to 200°C, precision rotor with strong structure also rated to 200°C, international top-brand high-precision and high-strength bearings, and copper solder tabs with exceptional current endurance, guaranteeing excellent performance and durability.
- BRCA/EFRA Approved — This motor meets the strict regulations set by the British Radio Car Association and European Federation of Radio Sports, meaning it is legal for competition use in sanctioned racing events across the UK and Europe.
- Two Different End Plate Options — The standard configuration includes end plates with large holes for excellent heat dissipation, optimised for on-road applications, though alternative end plates with small holes are available separately if needed for specific applications.
