Key Features

  • 32-bit ARM M4 Microprocessor with 120 MHz Operational Frequency — The advanced processing power enables extremely responsive throttle control and precise motor management, delivering smooth acceleration and deceleration curves that pilots can feel in every flight manoeuvre. This high-performance processor supports motor speeds up to 300,000 RPM for 2-pole motors, providing exceptional flexibility for various brushless motor configurations used in RC aircraft.
  • Drive Efficiency Optimisation (DEO) Technology — This sophisticated algorithm optimises the relationship between throttle input and motor output, resulting in significantly lower ESC operating temperatures during flight. DEO technology extends your flight duration by improving driving efficiency and enhances overall reliability by reducing thermal stress on components. Pilots who want to push the limits during high-demand 3D aerobatics can simply disable DEO for maximum raw performance.
  • Reverse Brake and Linear Reverse Brake Functions — The reverse brake mode allows RC pilots to simulate realistic aircraft landing scenarios with remarkable accuracy, effectively shortening landing distance and adding a professional dimension to flight operations. Adjustable brake amount lets you customise the braking response to match your flying style, whilst Normal Brake and Brake Disabled options provide complete flexibility. This feature is invaluable for landing on short airfields or crowded RC flying sites across the UK.
  • Built-in Search Mode for Aircraft Recovery — If your RC plane goes down in challenging terrain or dense vegetation, the Search Mode sends distinctive motor signals that create audible alarm beeps, helping you locate your aircraft quickly and safely. Additionally, Search Mode includes an intelligent feature that alerts you to disconnect the battery from an idle plane, preventing unnecessary power drain and potential battery damage during downtime or after a crash.
  • Comprehensive Protection System — The ESC includes input voltage monitoring, over-temperature safeguard, lost throttle signal protection, and low-voltage cutoff. These multiple protection layers work together to extend the service life of your expensive brushless motor and batteries, ensuring your RC aircraft remains flight-ready for years to come. Startup protection, capacitor thermal protection, and over-current/overload protection provide complete peace of mind during every flight session.
  • Flexible Programming Options — Configure your ESC using either a Hobbywing LED Program Box or directly through your transmitter, whichever method suits your preferences. This flexibility means you can adjust parameters and fine-tune settings anywhere, whether at the flying field or at home in your workshop, giving you complete control over ESC behaviour.
  • High-Voltage Battery Compatibility — Designed to work with 6-14S LiPo batteries, this ESC is future-proof for high-performance setups. The high-voltage architecture means you can use more powerful battery configurations to drive larger, more demanding brushless motors, giving you exceptional power and flight time for serious RC aircraft operations.
  • No BEC Output — This ESC does not include an integrated Battery Elimination Circuit, meaning you'll need to power your receiver and servos independently. This design choice reduces complexity and potential power delivery issues, allowing dedicated power systems to handle receiver and servo requirements separately for maximum reliability.
  • Robust Wiring and Connectors — The ESC features 10AWG input wires rated for high-current applications, ensuring safe power delivery from your battery pack. Three 10AWG output wires provide reliable motor connections for large brushless motors, whilst the lack of integrated connectors allows you to choose connection methods that best suit your aircraft setup and personal preferences.
