Overview
Carisma are excited to unveil the latest iteration of their officially licensed rally icon: the Audi Sport Quattro S1 1985. Building on the success of the previous GT24 1.0 model, this new 2.0 version introduces significant chassis upgrades and a hugely improved driving feel—delivering greater stability, responsiveness, and control in a compact 1/24-scale package. This is the perfect ready to run RC car UK for anyone who appreciates authentic rally heritage combined with modern performance engineering. Whether you're a seasoned competitor, a weekend basher, or a historic rally enthusiast, this officially licensed micro RC car offers genuine Audi pedigree at an accessible price point.
Back in the 1980s, long before the Audi R8 was even conceived, came another true Audi supercar—one that took rallying to a whole new level. Just 214 examples of the full-size Sport Quattro were ever produced, but in collaboration with Audi, Carisma have secured the licensing rights to reproduce the car in larger numbers at a far more accessible price point and scale. Their passion for all things motorsport and rally shines through in this release: the body has been painstakingly recreated in accurate 1/24 scale, and with 8000 kV brushless power, permanent 4WD, 2S LiPo compatibility, and precise 2.4 GHz radio gear, it's the perfect gift for any true petrolhead or a must-have for historic rally enthusiasts worldwide. This brushless RC rally car combines authentic styling with cutting-edge performance technology.
The body is beautifully reproduced in a lightweight, hobby-grade vacuum-formed shell with crisp detailing and high-quality decals. The paint scheme pays homage to the iconic Audi Quattro factory rally colours that defined Group B competition. Every detail has been carefully considered to create an authentic representation of this legendary machine, making this 1/24 micro RTR a stunning display piece as well as an exciting performer on the track or road.
Historic Heritage
In 1981, Audi launched its first World Rally Championship offensive with the standard-wheelbase A1 and A2 Quattros, and by 1982 had already secured the WRC Manufacturers' Championship. The late, great Finnish driver Hannu Mikkola went on to claim the Drivers' title in 1983 at the wheel of his A2, and in 1984 the brand swept the board—winning both Drivers' and Manufacturers' championships, with legendary Swede Stig Blomqvist crowned world champion in an early short-wheelbase Sport Quattro. The Quattro's revolutionary all-wheel-drive system revolutionised rally racing, and this 1/24 scale model celebrates that golden era of motorsport innovation.

Technical Performance
The Carisma GT24 2.0 Audi Sport Quattro S1 represents the pinnacle of 1/24-scale rally car engineering. At its heart sits an 8000 KV brushless motor delivering responsive, efficient power that far exceeds brushed alternatives. The new ARC-24 2-in-One brushless ESC and receiver integration keeps weight to a minimum whilst maximising control precision. The completely redesigned GT24 2.0 chassis provides the foundation for stable, predictable handling, with a 121mm wheelbase and 89mm width creating a compact platform that's easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces whilst maintaining excellent high-speed stability. The friction dampers keep the suspension setup straightforward and maintenance-light, perfect for drivers who want to focus on driving rather than constantly adjusting setup. The fully ball-raced driveline ensures every ounce of motor power reaches the wheels efficiently, with the permanent 4WD system distributing traction to maximise grip. This micro ready to run RC car accepts 2S LiPo batteries up to 7.4V, as well as the included 7.2V NiMH pack, giving you options for power levels to suit your driving style. The construction quality throughout is evidenced by the attention to detail in the vacuum-formed bodywork and high-quality decal application, with hobby-grade materials that are robust enough for serious driving whilst remaining accessible in price.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Carisma GT24 2.0 Audi Sport Quattro S1 suitable for complete beginners? — Yes, absolutely. This is classified as a Skill Level 1 vehicle, making it ideal for those new to RC hobbies. It arrives fully assembled and ready to run straight from the box—simply charge the battery, install the transmitter batteries, and you're ready to drive. The responsive brushless motor and stable 4WD chassis make it forgiving for new drivers whilst still offering enough performance to keep experienced drivers entertained.
- What battery does the Carisma GT24 2.0 need? — The kit includes a 7.2V NiMH micro stick battery pack that provides reliable performance. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a 2S LiPo battery (7.4V maximum) for improved speed and acceleration. The ARC-24 2-in-One ESC is fully compatible with both battery types, giving you flexibility to choose based on your budget and performance preferences.
- How long does the battery run on a single charge? — Runtime depends on your driving style and battery choice. The included 7.2V NiMH pack provides a good balance of run time and safety, whilst 2S LiPo upgrades deliver more sprint performance with slightly shorter runtime. For extended driving sessions, we recommend having a second battery charged and ready to swap in.
- What makes this micro RC car different from other 1/24 rally models? — This is an officially licensed Audi product, meaning the bodywork has been recreated with authentic precision using design input from Audi itself. The GT24 2.0 chassis represents a significant evolution over the 1.0 version, with improved handling characteristics, the integrated ARC-24 ESC/receiver system for better reliability, and genuine rally heritage that resonates with motorsport enthusiasts worldwide.
- Can I upgrade the servo? — Yes, the GT24 2.0 is 3-wire servo friendly, meaning you can swap out the included hobby-grade steering servo for aftermarket alternatives if desired. This gives you the freedom to choose a servo that matches your specific requirements for speed and torque.
- Is this car waterproof? — This is a hobby-grade micro RTR designed primarily for on-road and light off-road use. Whilst it can handle wet conditions, it is not fully waterproofed and should not be submerged or used in heavy rain as water damage to electronics could occur.
- What's included in terms of radio equipment? — The kit includes the KD PROPO CTX-2000 2.4 GHz FHSS transmitter with four AA batteries. This is a dedicated surface radio system providing reliable, interference-free control at 2.4 GHz frequency, which is the modern standard for RC cars and vehicles worldwide.
