- Ultimate Bulkhead Mounting System — Eight M4 screws provide ultimate security and precision alignment for the chassis, ensuring the most rigid construction possible and maintaining suspension geometry under extreme stress.
Technical Performance
The Corally Kagama XP 6S represents a masterclass in modern RC monster truck engineering, combining proven drivetrain technology with advanced materials science and precision manufacturing. At its heart sits the Kuron 825 brushless motor rated at 2050KV, delivering four-pole brushless performance across 2-6S LiPo configurations, paired with the Torox185 brushless ESC featuring full LiPo protection and programmable settings via the included transmitter. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to over 110 km/h with the precision of competition-grade RC equipment, yet remains forgiving enough for intermediate drivers to enjoy safely. The transmission delivers a 3.31 internal drive ratio combined with 13.23 overall drive ratio through CNC-bevel gears and hardened steel components, ensuring efficient power delivery whether you're crawling through technical sections or blasting across open terrain. Construction utilises 3mm anodised aluminium chassis plates meeting 6061-T6 specifications, 5mm CNC aluminium shock towers (both front and rear), and composite parts optimised specifically for this platform. The 16mm big bore shocks feature oil-filled designs with threaded aluminium bodies and coil-over springs, capable of handling even the thickest damping fluids when tackling extreme terrain. Full ball bearing construction with rubber-sealed bearings throughout ensures smooth operation whilst protecting against dirt ingress. Dimensions measure 585mm in length, 235mm in height, and 388mm wheelbase with 465mm front and rear track width, delivering the proportions needed for genuine monster truck capability. The 1/8 scale size sits perfectly between nimble short-course trucks and massive competition crawlers, making it versatile enough for most UK terrain types from garden obstacle courses to quarries and woodland trails. Water resistance features a splash-proof electronic box, whilst the sealed differentials and quality bearing construction provide genuine all-weather capability without requiring complete rebuilds after muddy sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Corally Kagama XP 6S suitable for beginners to RC bashing? — Whilst the Kagama represents premium engineering normally found only in competition models, Team Corally designed it with accessibility in mind. With an intermediate skill level rating and ready-to-run configuration requiring zero assembly, beginners can enjoy driving within minutes of unboxing. However, we recommend starting on 3S LiPo batteries rather than jumping directly to 6S, allowing new drivers to develop skills progressively. The brushless motor and quality steering servo provide forgiving, predictable handling characteristics ideal for learning, though the truck's performance capabilities mean it grows with you as your abilities improve.
- What battery does the Kagama XP 6S require and how long will it run? — The Kagama XP 6S features a 6S-capable brushless system, meaning it accepts 3S, 4S, 5S, or 6S LiPo batteries, with flexibility to start on lower voltages and progress to higher outputs. The battery compartment dimensions are 161x51x50mm, accommodating standard rectangular LiPo packs. Larger capacity batteries (4000-5000mAh) typically deliver 15-25 minutes of aggressive bashing, whilst runtime depends heavily on your driving style, terrain, and selected power level. We recommend purchasing at least two matched batteries to maximise track time during sessions.
- What is the top speed of the Kagama XP 6S brushless RC truck? — Team Corally specifies a top speed exceeding 110 km/h when running on 6S LiPo power with the 2050KV Kuron brushless motor. Starting on 3S reduces this to approximately 50-60 km/h, providing excellent progression opportunities as drivers develop their skills. Top speed varies based on terrain, battery voltage, driving style, and load, with open terrain naturally allowing higher speeds than technical woodland trails.
- How does the Kagama compare to other premium ready to run RC monster trucks? — The Kagama distinguishes itself through Team Corally's commitment to customer feedback and proven engineering principles. The 70% parts compatibility with other Corally models provides greater customisation options than many competitors, whilst the innovative suspension architecture and advanced chassis bracing system deliver handling precision traditionally reserved for race kits. The inclusion of quality electronics (Torox185 ESC, Kuron 825 motor, and Varioprop servo) in the RTR package eliminates the need for costly upgrades commonly required with entry-level brushless RC trucks. The 16mm big bore shock system and full ball bearing construction ensure genuine long-term durability rather than requiring replacement after occasional hard use.
- Does the Kagama XP 6S come ready to run without assembly? — Yes, this is a genuine ready to run (RTR) model arriving fully assembled, calibrated, and tested from the factory. You will not need to build or assemble any components—simply charge your battery, install four AA alkaline batteries in the transmitter, and you're ready to drive. This makes it the ultimate choice for busy enthusiasts wanting ready to run RC action without the time commitment of building from a kit.
- What makes the Kagama's suspension design special? — The suspension arms have been completely redesigned prioritising durability and precision without adding weight, featuring anodised aluminium hinge pin collars and pivot ball retainers that provide unmatched strength. The innovation extends to the 4x4 fastener system for chassis braces, isolating bulkheads from shocks and impacts whilst the 16mm big bore shocks with heavy-duty tuned pistons handle even the thickest damping fluids needed for punishing terrain. This combination delivers controlled precision even during extreme bashing sessions that would damage lesser designs.
- Is the Kagama waterproof or weather resistant? — The vehicle features splash-proof and dustproof electronics in a separate sealed electronic box, protecting vital components during muddy bashing sessions and light water crossings. Sealed differentials filled with silicone oil and full ball bearing construction with rubber-sealed bearings provide genuine all-weather capability. However, complete submersion is not recommended, and the vehicle should be rinsed with fresh water after muddy sessions to prevent corrosion.
- What radio system does the Kagama use and what is its range? — The included Team Corally CT2R is a 2.4GHz ergonomic transmitter featuring 2-channel digital control with interference-free operation. The system delivers a commanding 300+ metre range, providing ample freedom across most driving environments from large gardens to open fields and quarries. The digital 2.4GHz frequency automatically selects clear channels, eliminating the frequency coordination requirements of older 27MHz systems.
- How durable is the Kagama compared to other brushless RC trucks? — Team Corally explicitly designed the Kagama around the principle of "built by bashers, for bashers," incorporating lessons learned from customer feedback and extreme usage. The combination of thick aluminium chassis plates, hybrid differentials, sealed bearings, oversized shock ends, and reinforced components ensures genuine long-term durability. Many enthusiasts report thousands of crash-free kilometres with only minor maintenance, though the quality construction also means that when repairs are needed, the extensive spare parts availability ensures affordability.
- Can I use different battery voltages with the Kagama? — Yes, the Torox185 ESC and Kuron 825 motor support 2S through 6S LiPo operation, providing excellent progression. Many drivers start with 3S for controlled learning, progress to 4S for increased thrills, and eventually reach 6S for maximum performance. You can safely switch between voltages between driving sessions, though we recommend starting at lower voltages before progressing to avoid overwhelming yourself with performance.
