Overview

The Team Associated RC10B7 FT HRC Rear Hubs in -4 offset with black aluminium construction represent a premium upgrade component for serious RC buggy enthusiasts and competitive racers across the UK. These Factory Team (FT) hubs are engineered to deliver superior performance and handling precision, making them an essential choice for anyone running an RC10B7 platform or compatible models. Whether you're a seasoned competitor pushing for podium finishes or an experienced RC car UK enthusiast looking to optimise your setup, these HRC rear hubs provide the performance margin that separates good runs from winning ones.

HRC (High Roll Center) rear hubs represent an advanced suspension geometry solution that fundamentally improves how your RC buggy behaves under demanding track conditions. The -4 offset specification allows you to fine-tune your vehicle's weight distribution and chassis balance with precision, giving you the flexibility to adapt to different track surfaces and racing conditions. These hubs are manufactured from high-quality black aluminium, combining lightweight construction with exceptional durability to withstand the rigorous demands of competitive off-road racing.

As part of Team Associated's Factory Team range, these components are recognised worldwide as the choice of professional racers and dedicated hobbyists who demand nothing but the best from their equipment. The RC10B7 platform has established itself as one of the most versatile and capable 1/10 scale 4WD buggies available, and upgrading to HRC rear hubs is a natural progression for those seeking to maximise their vehicle's potential.

Key Features

  • Factory Team (FT) HRC Design — These rear hubs feature Team Associated's Factory Team HRC specification, which stands for High Roll Center and represents an advanced suspension geometry concept that improves your buggy's handling characteristics across all track conditions and ride heights.
  • -4 Offset Configuration — The -4 offset specification allows you to adjust your vehicle's weight distribution and chassis balance with millimetre-precision accuracy, enabling you to fine-tune your setup for specific track layouts and driving preferences.
  • Black Aluminium Construction — Manufactured from premium quality aluminium, these hubs deliver an optimal balance between lightweight performance and structural rigidity, ensuring they can handle the extreme forces generated during high-speed cornering and acceleration.
  • Precision Engineering — Each hub is manufactured to exacting Team Associated standards, ensuring perfect fitment and consistent performance across multiple units, which is essential when building or upgrading a competitive RC buggy.
  • Wide Model Compatibility — These hubs are designed to fit multiple platforms within the RC10 series, including the RC10B7, RC10B7D, RC10B84, RC10B84D, RC10T7, and RC10SC7, making them a versatile upgrade option for owners of these vehicles.
  • Professional-Grade Upgrade — By choosing Factory Team components, you're selecting equipment trusted by professional RC racers and competition drivers who rely on consistent performance during high-stakes events.

Technical Performance

The Team Associated RC10B7 FT HRC Rear Hubs represent a critical suspension upgrade that directly influences your buggy's cornering behaviour, traction characteristics, and overall handling predictability. The HRC (High Roll Center) specification fundamentally changes how your vehicle responds to track conditions and driving inputs, offering superior grip and more consistent performance compared to standard hub configurations. The black aluminium construction ensures these components remain rigid under extreme loading while maintaining minimal weight, which is crucial for maintaining optimal suspension geometry and preventing unwanted chassis flex. The -4 offset configuration integrates seamlessly with the long-arm suspension geometry featured on RC10 series buggies, which is specifically engineered to improve grip and predictability across various terrain conditions. When combined with Team Associated's optimised steering bellcranks and rack system—which provide exceptional bump steer control at all ride heights—these rear hubs enable drivers to maintain tight lines through corners while preserving maximum traction. The precision manufacturing ensures perfect integration with the RC10 platform's molded height-adjustable gearboxes and front and rear suspension arms, allowing you to create a fully optimised drivetrain and chassis setup. Whether you're running these hubs on a tight indoor track, an outdoor dirt circuit, or a mixed-condition racing venue, the Factory Team HRC design delivers the performance margin that experienced drivers demand for consistent, competitive results.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between HRC and standard rear hubs on RC buggies? — HRC stands for High Roll Center, which refers to an advanced suspension geometry specification that improves how your buggy handles corners and maintains traction on varied terrain. Standard hubs have a different roll center geometry, whereas HRC hubs are engineered to work with the RC10B7's long-arm suspension system to deliver superior grip and predictability across all driving conditions. The HRC specification is particularly beneficial for competitive racers who need consistent, predictable handling.
  • What does -4 offset mean on RC buggy hubs? — Offset refers to how far inward or outward the wheel is positioned relative to the hub mounting point. A -4 offset means the wheel sits 4mm further inward than standard, which affects your vehicle's weight distribution, track width, and overall chassis balance. This allows you to fine-tune your setup for specific track conditions, with negative offsets typically used when you need to adjust weight bias or accommodate different tyre and wheel combinations.
  • Are these rear hubs compatible with my RC buggy? — These Team Associated RC10B7 FT HRC Rear Hubs -4 Offset are compatible with the RC10B7, RC10B7D, RC10B84, RC10B84D, RC10T7, and RC10SC7 platforms. Before purchasing, confirm that your model is listed in the compatibility section. These hubs are designed specifically for the RC10 series 1/10 scale 4WD buggies.
  • Why should I upgrade to Factory Team HRC hubs? — Upgrading to Factory Team components represents a commitment to competitive performance and precision engineering. These hubs are trusted by professional RC racers worldwide and are engineered to work seamlessly with the RC10B7's advanced suspension geometry, optimised steering system, and adjustable gearboxes. If you're serious about racing or want to maximise your buggy's handling potential, Factory Team HRC hubs provide the performance margin needed for consistent results.
  • How do HRC hubs improve my buggy's handling? — The HRC (High Roll Center) geometry works in conjunction with your buggy's long-arm suspension to improve grip and predictability during cornering and acceleration. By changing the roll centre of your vehicle, HRC hubs alter how your suspension compresses and extends during driving, resulting in better traction control, more stable cornering, and improved overall handling characteristics across various track conditions.
  • What tools will I need to install these rear hubs? — Installation typically requires basic RC-specific tools including hex keys for fastener removal and installation, and potentially a suspension arm pulling tool depending on your buggy's setup. We recommend consulting your RC10B7 manual or watching installation videos specific to your model before beginning work. If you're unfamiliar with RC suspension adjustments, visiting your local RC Model Shop in Walsall for expert advice is highly recommended.
