Technical Performance
The Team Associated B6.3 FT Carbon Fibre Steering Block Arms HT+1 deliver measurable performance improvements through advanced materials engineering and precision manufacturing. Carbon fibre composite construction provides exceptional rigidity whilst maintaining minimal weight penalty—a critical performance factor in 1/10 scale competitive racing where every gram matters. The steering block arms form the critical connection between your RC vehicle's front suspension, steering linkage and wheel hubs; therefore, precision geometry and material quality directly influence handling response, steering feel and lap time consistency. By upgrading from plastic arms to carbon fibre, you reduce flex under cornering loads, ensuring steering geometry remains true and consistent throughout extended practice sessions or competitive racing. The HT+1 geometry specification has been developed and refined through extensive testing in competitive environments, delivering optimised steering characteristics for drivers seeking the ultimate in handling performance. These components work seamlessly with the full range of compatible Team Associated 1/10 platforms including the RC10B6.1, RC10B6.1D, RC10B6.1DL, RC10B6.2, RC10B6.2D, RC10B6.3, RC10B6.3D, RC10SC6.1, RC10SC6.2, RC10T6.1 and RC10T6.2 models. The carbon fibre material exhibits outstanding fatigue resistance, maintaining performance integrity through thousands of steering cycles without degradation or permanent deformation. For RC enthusiasts building competition-spec machines or seeking incremental performance gains through component upgrades, these steering block arms represent one of the most cost-effective and measurable improvements available.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between standard plastic steering block arms and these carbon fibre Factory Team arms? — Carbon fibre arms deliver significant advantages over plastic components: they are substantially lighter, reducing unsprung weight at the front end and improving overall vehicle dynamics; they provide superior rigidity and maintain steering geometry more consistently through cornering; they exhibit greater durability and fatigue resistance through extended use; and they represent the choice of competitive racers seeking measurable performance gains. For serious RC enthusiasts in the UK market, the performance and longevity benefits typically justify the investment.
- Are these arms suitable for beginners or casual RC hobbyists? — These components are specifically engineered for experienced drivers and competitive racers rather than casual beginners. However, they serve as an excellent upgrade path if you already own a compatible Team Associated vehicle and wish to enhance performance through component upgrades. Beginners should first master fundamentals with their stock vehicle before investing in performance tuning parts.
- How do I know if these arms will fit my specific Team Associated model? — These arms are compatible with multiple Team Associated 1/10 platforms including the B6.1, B6.1D, B6.1DL, B6.2, B6.2D, B6.3, B6.3D and various short course and truck variants. However, fitment depends on your exact model and may require specific hardware configurations. Always reference your vehicle's official kit manual or Team Associated's exploded parts diagrams to confirm compatibility and identify required fasteners before ordering.
- What does the HT+1 designation mean? — HT+1 refers to a specific steering geometry specification developed by Team Associated for enhanced high-speed stability and responsive steering feel. This geometry option is optimised for drivers seeking competitive advantage through superior turn-in response and mid-corner control characteristics on the track.
- How are these different from aftermarket carbon fibre arms from other manufacturers? — These are genuine Factory Team components manufactured directly by Team Associated to their exact engineering specifications. They are not third-party clones or alternative interpretations but factory-engineered parts developed and tested in competitive racing environments. This guarantees perfect fitment, proven performance and the quality standards expected from Team Associated's professional racing division.
- Will upgrading to carbon fibre steering block arms significantly improve my lap times? — Carbon fibre arms deliver measurable improvements in handling consistency, steering response and overall vehicle dynamics—particularly noticeable during extended racing sessions when component flex would typically degrade performance. Lap time improvements depend on your driving skill, track conditions and other vehicle components, but experienced racers regularly report improved consistency and reduced mid-corner push. For competitive drivers, these upgrades represent part of a comprehensive performance tuning strategy.
- Are these arms easy to install? — Yes, these arms are bolt-on replacement components that install quickly using standard RC tools and hardware. However, you must identify the correct fasteners and any additional components required for your specific model. We recommend consulting your vehicle's manual or exploded parts diagram before beginning installation to ensure you have all necessary hardware ready.
