Technical Performance

The Fastrax Team Tool 4mm Slotted Engine Tuning Screwdriver is manufactured to professional standards with a focus on precision and longevity. The hard anodised aluminium handle provides both lightweight balance and exceptional durability, resisting corrosion and wear even in challenging workshop environments. The 4mm slotted driver head is precisely machined to deliver a snug, secure fit in carburettor adjustment screws found on standard RC nitro engines, preventing the wobbling or stripping that can occur with undersized or oversized tools. The long-reach shank extends the effective reach of the driver, allowing you to access needle valve adjustments and carburettor settings on RC buggies, RC trucks, RC crawlers and other RC vehicles without obstruction from surrounding engine components. This tool is essential for anyone tuning fuel and air mixture ratios on their RC car, adjusting idle speed, or performing maintenance work on RC engine installations. The combination of hard anodised finish, precision engineering, and practical long-reach design makes this an indispensable tool for RC technicians, hobbyists, and professional competitors alike.

  • How do I know this is the correct size for my RC engine? — The size is clearly stamped on the handle for easy identification. Before purchasing, check your RC engine's carburettor documentation or specifications to confirm that your adjustment screws require a 4mm slotted driver. If you're unsure, our team at RC Model Shop can help you identify the correct tool size for your specific RC model.
