Technical Performance
The Team Corally Kagama4 is engineered with uncompromising attention to performance and build quality. At its core lies the Kuron 725 sensorless brushless motor rated at 2150KV with 4-pole configuration, paired with the sophisticated Torox 135 Electronic Speed Control featuring 2-4S LiPo protection. This powerful combination delivers exhilarating performance, utilising 4S LiPo batteries to achieve speeds exceeding 80 kilometres per hour, with 75+ km/h readily achievable in most conditions. The ESC's intelligent protection systems safeguard your batteries throughout operation, making the Kagama4 suitable for extended bashing sessions without risk to your power source.
The truck's suspension geometry reflects Team Corally's expertise in off-road design. The independent front suspension utilises pillow ball mounting, whilst the rear employs sophisticated independent double wishbone suspension incorporating components proven on the Radix6 and Sketer platforms. The 19mm diameter oil-filled composite big bore shocks with coil-over spring configuration provide exemplary terrain absorption and consistent ride characteristics across rocky, dusty, and muddy environments. The 52T steel central spur gear works in concert with the motor pinion configuration, delivering a 13.23 overall drive ratio (3.31 internal ratio) that balances acceleration responsiveness with top-end speed capability.
Construction quality throughout the Kagama4 demonstrates Team Corally's commitment to durability. The chassis comprises 3mm laser-etched aluminium 6061-T6 material, anodised for corrosion resistance, whilst the suspension arm holders are precision-machined 4mm aluminium with composite shock towers. The drivetrain utilises hardened steel components throughout: precision CNC-machined motor pinion, complete hard coated steel outdrives, and extra surface hardened steel front CVD joints with 17mm aluminium drive hexes. All transmission ball bearings measure 8x16x5mm with rubber shielding, protecting against contamination whilst ensuring smooth operation. The three sealed differentials feature individual silicone oil fill, allowing customisation for different driving conditions. The polycarbonate body is elaborately printed and trimmed, arriving factory-glued to the bash-ready wheels—eliminating assembly delays and ensuring immediate ready-to-run operation. This comprehensive engineering approach ensures the Kagama4 delivers reliable, consistent performance whether you're a weekend basher or serious enthusiast.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Team Corally Kagama4 suitable for beginners or do I need RC experience? — Yes, the Kagama4 is excellent for beginners. Whilst classified as intermediate skill level, it comes fully assembled as a ready-to-run truck requiring no building. The CT2S transmitter includes essential beginner-friendly features such as steering dual rate (allowing reduced steering sensitivity), servo reverse functionality, and a 50%-100% power switch that lets you start at reduced throttle whilst learning control. The brushless motor and modern ESC with LiPo protection make operation straightforward once you understand basic battery charging and safety, and the truck's durable construction means it will withstand the inevitable learning-phase crashes.
- What battery does the Kagama4 need and how fast will it go? — The Kagama4 requires an 11.1V-14.8V LiPo battery (3S or 4S configuration). With a 4S LiPo battery, the truck achieves speeds exceeding 80 kilometres per hour, with 75+ km/h readily possible during typical bashing. The 2S to 4S compatibility of the Torox 135 ESC means you can start with a 3S battery if preferred, which will deliver slightly lower speeds but excellent torque and control characteristics suitable for learning.
- How does the Kagama4 compare to other ready-to-run RC monster trucks available in the UK? — The Kagama4 distinguishes itself through its hybrid "truggified" design that marries the agility and manoeuvrability of a buggy with the imposing presence and power of a monster truck. Built on the proven Syncro4 platform, it offers exceptional value with premium components throughout: the Kuron 725 brushless motor, Torox 135 ESC, and 25Kg metal-gear servo are all high-quality in-house Team Corally components. The reinforced chassis brace system, three sealed differentials, and advanced suspension geometry borrowed from the Radix6 and Sketer platforms provide durability and performance that rivals trucks at significantly higher price points. The generous adjustable battery compartment, splash-proof electronics box, and wide array of available tuning parts make it highly customisable for different driving styles and conditions.
- What makes the suspension system of the Kagama4 particularly good for bashing? — The Kagama4 employs sophisticated independent suspension geometry: the front features independent pillow ball suspension whilst the rear uses independent double wishbone design. This configuration, enhanced with components proven on competition platforms, ensures the truck maintains stability and control across rocky, muddy, and uneven terrain. The 19mm oil-filled composite big bore shocks with coil-over springs provide excellent impact absorption and consistent ride height, whilst the adjustable nature of the suspension allows fine-tuning for different terrains and driving preferences.
- Is the Kagama4 waterproof and can I bash in wet weather? — The Kagama4 features a new splash-proof and dustproof electronic box protecting the ESC and receiver from moisture and contamination. Whilst described as splash-proof rather than fully waterproof, this provides good protection for typical wet weather bashing. However, complete submersion or sustained water exposure should be avoided. The sealed ball bearings and rubber-sealed design throughout provide additional protection against mud and moisture contamination.
- What kind of terrain can the Kagama4 handle? — The Kagama4 is designed to dominate any terrain. Its advanced suspension system and heavy-duty construction make it suitable for rocky ground, sand, grass, mud, and challenging outdoor environments. The wide Sketer Multi-Block Stunt Tyres (134x70mm) provide exceptional grip on all surfaces, whilst the adjustable suspension allows optimisation for specific terrain types. The reinforced chassis brace system and durable components ensure consistent performance even on the roughest terrain.
- Can I upgrade and tune the Kagama4 for better performance? — Absolutely. Team Corally provides a wide array of tuning parts specifically designed for the Kagama4, allowing customisation of suspension geometry, drivetrain ratios, motor positions (the hybrid aluminium motor mount supports 13T, 15T, and 17T pinion configurations), and differential lock settings. The quick and easy differential access and adjustable suspension components make the truck highly tunable for both beginners seeking to learn setup and experienced drivers pushing performance limits.
- What is the transmission system and how does it contribute to performance? — The Kagama4 utilises a shaft-driven 4WD transmission system with three sealed differentials, each individually filled with silicone oil. The drivetrain features a precision CNC-machined 52T steel central spur gear, steel outdrive cups, central driveshafts, and aerospace-quality rubber-sealed ball bearings. This configuration delivers a 13.23 overall drive ratio (3.31 internal) that optimises the balance between acceleration and top-end speed, ensuring the Kuron 725 motor's power is efficiently translated to the wheels for consistent, reliable performance.
- How long does the Kagama4 run on a charge and how quickly can I recharge? — Runtime depends on battery capacity and driving intensity; typical 5000mAh 4S LiPo batteries deliver 15-25 minutes of bashing, varying with throttle usage and terrain. Charge time depends on your charger capability; a 65W charger typically requires 45-90 minutes for a 5000mAh battery depending on charge rate. Faster chargers reduce charging time if you prefer multiple bashing sessions in succession.
