Technical Performance
The Team Associated TC8 Upper Suspension Arms represent genuine OEM engineering designed to work seamlessly within the TC8 touring car platform. As suspension components, upper arms are subjected to significant forces during cornering, acceleration and deceleration, making material quality and manufacturing precision absolutely essential. Team Associated has built a global reputation on engineering RC cars that perform at the highest competitive levels, and these replacement arms reflect that same commitment to quality. The precision engineering ensures these arms maintain the exact geometry specifications required by the TC8 chassis, which is critical for consistent handling, predictable steering response, and optimal tyre contact patches throughout your run. Whether you're competing in UK RC car championships or simply enjoying recreational track days with fellow enthusiasts, having genuine Team Associated components ensures your vehicle performs reliably. These arms are standard fitment parts for the TC8, meaning they integrate perfectly with your existing suspension system without requiring any modifications or adjustments to your setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are upper suspension arms and why do I need replacement arms for my RC car? — Upper suspension arms are critical components that connect your RC car's chassis to the suspension system, allowing controlled vertical wheel movement while maintaining precise geometry. Over time, these arms can become bent from impacts, develop wear, or accumulate play in their connection points, which degrades handling precision and cornering performance. Replacement arms restore your vehicle to factory specifications and ensure consistent, predictable handling on the track.
- Are these parts compatible with my Team Associated TC8? — Yes, these are the genuine factory upper suspension arms designed specifically for the Team Associated TC8 touring car. The part number AS32061 is the official Team Associated reference, ensuring perfect compatibility and fitment without any modifications required.
- How often should I replace my upper suspension arms? — This depends on your driving style, track conditions, and how much racing you do. Regular track racers should inspect their arms before each event and replace them if bent, cracked, or showing signs of wear. Recreational drivers may only need replacement arms every season or after specific impacts. Having spare arms on hand is always recommended.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — These are replacement parts rather than complete assemblies, so they're best suited for drivers who already own a Team Associated TC8 and understand basic suspension maintenance. If you're new to RC cars, you might want to start with a complete ready-to-run RC car UK package and learn about maintenance through your local RC community before tackling component replacement.
- Can I use these arms on other Team Associated models? — These upper suspension arms are specifically designed for the TC8 platform. While Team Associated manufactures many excellent RC touring cars and buggies, suspension components are typically model-specific, so compatibility with other models cannot be guaranteed. Always verify part compatibility before purchasing replacement components for different models.
- What should I look for when my arms need replacing? — Inspect your upper suspension arms regularly for visible bending, cracks, or damage. During use, signs that replacement is needed include loose or unpredictable steering response, uneven tyre wear, or noticeable play when you manually move the suspension through its range. If arms are visibly bent, they're affecting your geometry and should be replaced immediately.
