Overview
The Futaba S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block (FUTEBB0160) is an essential accessory for RC enthusiasts in the UK who demand clean, organised wiring in their radio control models. Whether you're building a precision competition rig or a weekend basher, this compact connector block offers a neat solution to managing multiple S.Bus connections within your RC electronics layout. Finished in professional black and engineered to be exceptionally lightweight at just 0.02 kg, this Futaba component helps keep your overall model mass low whilst maintaining reliable signal distribution across your servo network.
S.Bus connectivity has become the standard for modern RC systems, allowing multiple servos to be daisy-chained from a single receiver port with a single signal wire. The Futaba S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block takes this convenience further by providing a centralised hub where up to six S.Bus devices can connect simultaneously. This eliminates the need for multiple individual servo connections and Y-harnesses scattered throughout your chassis, making installation cleaner and more professional-looking. For builders working in space-conscious installations—from 1/10 scale buggies to small foamies and micro crawlers—this connector block represents a practical, reliable solution that keeps wiring tidy without adding significant mass to your build.
RC Model Shop stocks this genuine Futaba accessory as part of our commitment to providing authorised RC hobbyists across the UK with quality components and spares that make your building and racing experience seamless. If you're upgrading an existing model or building from scratch, the S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block is the straightforward, no-nonsense way to organise your S.Bus cabling management.
Key Features
- Six S.Bus Socket Connections — This connector block accommodates up to six S.Bus devices simultaneously, allowing you to connect multiple servos, receivers, or other S.Bus-compatible equipment through a single organised hub rather than scattered individual connections throughout your model.
- Compact, Lightweight Design — Weighing just 0.02 kg (0.03 lbs), this black connector block adds minimal mass to your RC model, which is critical when you're trying to maintain optimal weight distribution and flight or handling characteristics in competition or casual flying and driving.
- Professional Black Finish — The sleek black colour blends seamlessly with modern RC electronics and looks professional inside your chassis or fuselage, giving your build a finished, purpose-built appearance rather than a jumble of mismatched connectors and wiring.
- Genuine Futaba Engineering — As an official Futaba component, this connector block is manufactured to the same quality standards as Futaba's renowned transmitters, receivers and servos, ensuring reliable electrical contact and long-term durability in demanding RC environments.
- Space-Conscious Installation — By consolidating multiple S.Bus connections into a single neat block, you free up valuable chassis, fuselage or electronics tray space, making this connector block ideal for builds where every millimetre of internal volume counts.
- Straightforward Form Factor — The simple, practical design requires no special tools or expertise to install; simply plug your S.Bus cables into the sockets and secure the block in place with a small dab of foam-safe adhesive or double-sided tape.
- Clean Wiring Management — Eliminates the unsightly rat's nest of Y-harnesses and individual servo leads that can make electronics installations look chaotic, resulting in a professional-looking build that's easier to troubleshoot and modify later.
Technical Performance
The Futaba S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block represents the gold standard in S.Bus organisation for the modern RC hobbyist. Built with the meticulous engineering that Futaba is renowned for, this connector block features six individual S.Bus sockets, each capable of handling the full bandwidth of S.Bus protocol transmission. The sockets are precisely machined to ensure secure, interference-free connections that maintain signal integrity even in electrically noisy RC environments. At just 0.02 kg in weight, the connector block is so light that it makes virtually no impact on your model's centre of gravity or overall mass budget—particularly important for competitive builders working within strict weight restrictions or flyers trying to maximise endurance. The black finish is durable and professional, resisting scuffs and maintaining its appearance even after repeated assembly and disassembly. The straightforward construction means there are no complex circuits, batteries, or active electronics to fail; this is pure passive connectivity, which translates to zero power draw and absolute reliability. Whether you're building a competition crawler, a micro racing drone, a precision aerobatic plane, or a high-performance RC car, the S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block delivers the clean, organised wiring management that separates professional-grade builds from amateur-looking assemblies.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is an S.Bus connector block and why do I need one? — An S.Bus connector block is a passive hub that consolidates multiple S.Bus connections into a single point. Instead of plugging each servo, receiver, or S.Bus device individually into scattered ports on your receiver, you can plug everything into the connector block, which connects to your receiver via a single S.Bus cable. This keeps your wiring clean, organised and easier to manage, especially important in space-constrained RC models where every millimetre of room matters.
- How many devices can I connect to this S.Bus connector block? — The Futaba S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block can accommodate up to six S.Bus devices simultaneously, whether these are servos, receivers, or other S.Bus-compatible equipment. Each socket provides independent connection with full signal integrity.
- Is this connector block suitable for beginners? — Absolutely. The S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block is ideal for builders of all experience levels. Installation is straightforward—no soldering or complex electronics knowledge is required. Simply plug your S.Bus cables into the sockets and secure the block in your model. It's particularly beneficial for beginners because it simplifies wiring organisation and reduces the risk of loose connections.
- What is the weight of this connector block? — The Futaba S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block weighs just 0.02 kg (0.03 lbs), making it essentially negligible in terms of added mass to your RC model. This is important for competitive builders and flyers who need to maintain strict weight budgets.
- Will this work with my Futaba receiver? — Yes, this genuine Futaba component is engineered to work seamlessly with Futaba receivers and any other equipment featuring S.Bus connectivity. S.Bus is an open protocol standard widely adopted across the RC industry, so it's compatible with most modern RC systems that support S.Bus communication.
- Can I use this connector block in confined spaces? — Definitely. The compact design of the S.BUS 6 Socket Connector Block makes it ideal for space-conscious installations such as small drones, micro RC cars, limited-space fuselages, and tight electronics trays. Its small footprint allows it to fit into areas where individual servo connections would be difficult to manage.
- Is this a passive connector block or does it have active electronics? — This is a passive connector block with no active circuitry, meaning it draws no power and has zero failure risk from electronics failure. It simply provides six secure connection points for S.Bus devices, making it utterly reliable and maintenance-free.
