Key Features
- CNC Machined Construction — This rear shock tower is manufactured using CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining, a precision engineering process that produces components with tolerances and accuracy that hand-made or stamped parts cannot achieve, ensuring perfect fitment and performance every single time.
- 7075-T6 Aluminium Alloy — Constructed from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, one of the strongest aluminium alloys available, this shock tower offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio compared to steel or plastic alternatives, making it ideal for demanding RC applications where durability is paramount.
- Stiff and Strong Design — The rigid aluminium construction minimises flex and deflection during hard cornering, aggressive landings, and high-speed manoeuvres, ensuring consistent handling characteristics and reduced wear on other chassis components and suspension parts.
- Extremely Durable — Built to withstand the punishment of extreme bashings, high-impact landings, and aggressive driving styles that are characteristic of ARRMA's Extreme Bash product philosophy, this shock tower will maintain its integrity through countless driving sessions.
- Anodised ARRMA Red Finish — The professional anodised red colour coating provides both aesthetic appeal and protective corrosion resistance, keeping your RC car looking stunning whilst protecting the aluminium from oxidation and wear.
- Laser Etched EXB Logo — The Extreme Bash logo is laser etched directly onto the component for added style and authenticity, creating a professional appearance that identifies this as genuine ARRMA engineering.
- OEM Quality Replacement — This is a factory-specification part from ARRMA, meaning it meets the exact engineering standards and tolerances originally designed for your vehicle, providing confidence that it will perform exactly as intended.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA CNC Rear Shock Tower Z-ARA320759 represents the pinnacle of chassis component engineering for modern brushless RC models. Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminium alloy through precision CNC machining, this component delivers extraordinary stiffness and durability compared to standard cast or stamped alternatives. The CNC manufacturing process removes all guesswork from production, resulting in parts that are dimensionally perfect and engineered to maintain structural integrity even under the most extreme conditions that competitive RC bashers and off-road enthusiasts can create. The 7075-T6 aluminium alloy is recognised throughout the aerospace and motorsport industries for its exceptional strength characteristics, making it the material of choice for components that must endure repeated stress and impact forces. The anodised red finish not only delivers the distinctive ARRMA aesthetic but also provides a protective layer that resists corrosion, oxidation, and the wear that comes from exposure to dirt, moisture, and UV radiation during outdoor RC car UK adventures. This shock tower is engineered as a direct replacement component for compatible ARRMA models, ensuring that it will integrate seamlessly with your existing chassis and suspension components without modification or adjustment. The rigid construction of this CNC-machined component helps to maintain precise suspension geometry throughout aggressive driving, which translates directly into more predictable handling, reduced tyre wear, and improved overall performance during competition or recreational bashing sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What ARRMA models is this rear shock tower compatible with? — This CNC Rear Shock Tower Z-ARA320759 is specifically designed as a replacement component for the ARRMA 1/8 KRATON 6S EXB 4X4 RTR Speed Monster Truck. Always verify compatibility with your specific model before ordering replacement chassis components, as shock towers are model-specific engineering parts.
- Why would I need to replace my rear shock tower? — Replacement shock towers become necessary if the original component is damaged through impact or crashes, or if you want to upgrade to the superior CNC-machined version from the standard factory equipment. Many RC enthusiasts upgrade to CNC components as proactive maintenance to improve durability and reduce the risk of failure during competition or high-stress bashings.
- What material is this shock tower made from, and why does it matter? — This component is manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, one of the strongest and most rigid aluminium alloys available in the RC industry. This material choice ensures exceptional durability, minimal flex during cornering and landing impacts, and outstanding longevity compared to plastic or lower-grade aluminium alternatives, making it the professional choice for serious RC enthusiasts.
- Is this an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part? — Yes, this is a genuine ARRMA factory-engineered replacement component manufactured to the exact specifications used in ARRMA vehicles. This ensures perfect fitment, proper function, and reliability that aftermarket or clone parts cannot match.
- What finish does this shock tower have? — The shock tower features an anodised ARRMA red finish, which provides both the distinctive ARRMA brand aesthetic and practical corrosion resistance. The anodising process creates a protective oxide layer on the aluminium surface that resists rust, oxidation, and weathering from outdoor RC driving conditions.
- Will this improve my RC car's performance? — Whilst a shock tower replacement is primarily a durability and reliability upgrade rather than a performance enhancement, the rigid CNC-machined construction can contribute to more consistent handling geometry compared to a damaged or worn original component, and the superior stiffness helps maintain precise suspension characteristics during aggressive driving.
- How does CNC machining differ from other manufacturing methods? — CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining uses computer-controlled precision cutting tools to manufacture components with exact dimensional tolerances, resulting in parts that fit perfectly and perform consistently. This is superior to hand-stamped or cast methods, which can vary in thickness, strength, and dimensional accuracy from one component to the next.
