The High Voltage (HV) capability means you can push performance to the limit with 8.4V input whilst maintaining the flexibility to run at 6.0V for less demanding applications or battery-conscious operation.
What truly sets the S6295 apart in the brushless RC servo category is its combination of phenomenal transit speed with impressive holding torque. At just 0.062 seconds for a full sweep at 8.4V, this servo responds faster than the eye can follow, giving you the competitive edge in racing scenarios or the responsiveness needed when piloting through technical terrain. Yet despite its lightning-fast speed, the servo delivers a massive 30kg-cm (416oz-in) of torque at 8.4V, ensuring that even the most violent steering inputs won't cause sag or loss of control.
Key Features
- Brushless Motor Technology — The S6295 utilises a class-leading brushless powertrain rather than traditional brushed motors, which means superior longevity, reduced maintenance, cooler operating temperatures and more consistent performance across extended use. Brushless RC servo motors are the industry standard for high-performance applications because they eliminate brush wear and offer smoother, more reliable operation.
- High Voltage (HV) Capable — Operating voltage range of 6.0V to 8.4V gives you flexibility in power delivery and allows you to harness maximum performance when you need it most. Running at 8.4V unlocks the fastest transit speeds and highest torque output, making this servo ideal for competitive racing where every millisecond counts, whilst the ability to run at lower voltages extends battery life for casual bashing.
- Ultra-Fast 0.062 Second Transit Speed — At 8.4V, the S6295 completes a full 60-degree sweep in just 0.062 seconds, making it blindingly responsive for high-speed off-road racing where instantaneous steering input is critical. This exceptional speed means your RC car responds to your control inputs without any perceptible lag, giving you precise directional control even at maximum velocity.
- Exceptional Torque of 30kg-cm (416oz-in) — The servo delivers impressive holding power and steering force at 8.4V, ensuring that your steering commands are executed with authority and without deflection under load. High torque is essential in 1/8th scale racing where aggressive cornering forces and impact loads place significant stress on servo components.
- Metal Gear Train with Precision Engineering — The S6295 features hardened steel gears in a precision-engineered arrangement designed for tight mesh, minimal wear and exceptionally smooth operation. Metal gears are far more durable and reliable than plastic alternatives, especially in demanding off-road racing where the servo experiences constant high-stress input.
- Durable All-Aluminium Case — The sleek black and silver anodised aluminium housing provides both excellent heat dissipation and robust mechanical protection. Aluminium construction helps keep internal components cool during extended operation, extending component lifespan and maintaining consistent performance even during long practice sessions or race days.
- Water Resistant Design — Whether you're racing in muddy conditions, splashing through water features or dealing with wet grass, the S6295's water-resistant construction protects internal electronics from moisture ingress. This is invaluable for RC car UK enthusiasts who want to use their equipment in all weather conditions without constant worry about water damage.
- 23-Tooth Output Spline — The standard 23T spline is the universal servo output standard for 1/8th scale RC applications, ensuring compatibility with the vast majority of servo horns, brackets and RC vehicles in the current market. This compatibility makes it easy to install the S6295 into virtually any 1/8th scale platform.
- Soft-Start Protection — When the servo powers up, the soft-start feature gradually ramps motor torque rather than applying full force instantly. This reduces mechanical shock to steering linkages and servo mounts, extending component life and reducing the risk of damage from sudden movements during power-on.
- Advanced Failsafe and Over-Current Protection — Sophisticated electronic protection circuits monitor current draw and respond automatically if something goes wrong, preventing catastrophic failure and protecting your servo investment. These protections are essential when operating at high voltage where electrical stresses are at their greatest.
- Removable Standard Servo Connector — The S6295 features a standard-size removable servo lead, allowing you to swap different connector lengths for various vehicle applications or replace damaged leads without replacing the entire servo. This practical design feature saves money and provides versatility across your RC fleet.
- Engineered for 1/8 Scale Excellence — From competition off-road racing and high-speed buggies to serious RC crawlers, scalers and aggressive bashing platforms, the S6295 is purpose-built for 1/8th scale performance. The servo's specification envelope — combining speed, torque, durability and advanced protection — makes it equally capable across this diverse range of applications.
Technical Performance
The Spektrum S6295 represents the pinnacle of digital servo engineering for 1/8th scale RC applications. At its heart lies a brushless motor rated at 0.062 seconds transit speed when powered by an 8.4V high-voltage battery pack, making it one of the fastest-responding servos available in the standard servo category. The servo's internal electronics are optimised for tight proportional control across the full servo range, delivering smooth, predictable steering feedback without dead zones or binding. The metal gear train comprises hardened steel components arranged with precision tolerances to create a robust, low-wear transmission that can handle the extreme forces generated during high-speed cornering, jump landings and aggressive bashing. Construction quality is exceptional throughout, with the all-aluminium case providing rigidity and heat dissipation whilst the sealed housing protects internal components from dust, moisture and vibration. Dimensionally, the S6295 maintains a compact footprint at just 40mm long, 20mm wide and 28mm tall, allowing installation in tight servo bays on modern 1/8th scale platforms. The servo accepts 6.0V to 8.4V input, adapting its performance characteristics to match your chosen power level — whether you're using a 2S LiPo battery at the lower end or maximising performance with an 8.4V system. The 23-tooth spline output is industry-standard for 1/8th scale, ensuring universal compatibility with virtually every modern RC servo horn and linkage arrangement.
