Overview
The PRO 1/10 Spring Assortment for Shocks (G-PRO6364-03) is an essential tuning accessory designed specifically for owners of PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks who want to optimise their RC car's suspension performance. Whether you're a competitive racer fine-tuning your setup for championship conditions or an enthusiast basher looking to dial in your ride for different terrains, this spring assortment gives you the flexibility to match your suspension geometry to virtually any driving situation. If you're serious about getting the most out of your PRO PowerStroke Shocks, this upgrade pack is a must-have addition to your RC car tuning toolkit.
This spring assortment represents Pro-Line's commitment to customisation and performance tuning. Rather than being locked into a single spring rate, you gain the ability to experiment with multiple combinations, allowing you to discover the perfect setup for your specific driving style and track conditions. It's a practical investment for anyone running PRO636400 shocks on their 1/10 scale RC car UK setup, whether that's a stadium truck, buggy, or truggy platform.
The kit is engineered to work seamlessly with your existing PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks, making installation straightforward for anyone with basic RC maintenance knowledge. No specialist tools or modifications are required—simply swap out the springs to experiment with different spring rates and observe how each combination affects your car's handling characteristics, ride height, and overall performance across varying track surfaces.
Key Features
- Nine Different Spring Rate Combinations — The assortment includes three different upper springs and three different lower springs, providing nine distinct combined spring rate possibilities. This means you can progressively tune your suspension without having to purchase multiple complete shock kits, saving both time and money whilst giving you comprehensive tuning options.
- Designed for PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks — These springs are engineered specifically to fit and work optimally with Pro-Line's PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks, ensuring perfect compatibility and consistent performance. Using OEM-matched springs guarantees that the suspension geometry and response characteristics remain as the manufacturer intended.
- Mix and Match Spring Rates — The ability to combine different upper and lower spring rates allows you to fine-tune your suspension stiffness independently for the front and rear of your vehicle. This level of control is invaluable when dealing with varying track conditions, from bumpy outdoor terrain to smooth indoor carpet surfaces.
- Professional Tuning Tool — Spring rate selection is one of the fundamental suspension tuning parameters used by competitive RC racers and experienced drivers to optimise grip, cornering speed, and overall handling balance. This assortment puts professional-level tuning capability directly into your hands.
- Straightforward Installation — Swapping springs in your PRO636400 shocks requires only basic tools and minimal mechanical knowledge, making this an accessible upgrade for intermediate and advanced RC enthusiasts who want to experiment with suspension setup.
Technical Performance
The PRO 1/10 Spring Assortment is engineered using quality materials consistent with Pro-Line's reputation for durable, high-performance RC components. Each spring in the assortment is precisely manufactured to deliver consistent spring rates that directly influence how your suspension responds to track bumps, acceleration, braking, and cornering forces. The Dual-Rate design of the PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks themselves means they feature both a primary spring rate for general suspension support and a secondary rate that engages during larger impacts, providing both comfort over small bumps and resistance to bottoming out during aggressive driving. By varying which springs you install, you can shift the balance between these characteristics. The multiple spring combinations enable you to increase stiffness for high-grip carpet track conditions or soften the setup for outdoor asphalt or concrete surfaces where traction is lower and suspension compliance is beneficial. The engineering behind these springs ensures they maintain consistent performance across numerous driving sessions without degradation, making them a reliable long-term tuning solution for your 1/10 scale RC car.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What springs should I use as a starting point when tuning my RC suspension? — A good approach is to start with your original springs and make one change at a time, either switching to a stiffer upper spring or a softer lower spring. Note how this affects your car's handling: if the car feels bouncy and unstable, try stiffer springs; if it bottoms out and loses grip, try softer springs. The nine combinations in this assortment give you plenty of options to find your optimal setup without purchasing additional kits.
- Will these springs fit my PRO636400 PowerStroke Shocks? — Yes, these springs are designed specifically for PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks and will fit correctly without modification. However, they are not compatible with other shock types or brands, so ensure you have the correct shock model before purchasing.
- How much does spring rate affect my RC car's performance? — Spring rate is one of the most important suspension tuning parameters. Stiffer springs reduce body roll during cornering and prevent bottoming out, making the car feel more responsive but potentially less compliant on bumpy surfaces. Softer springs improve traction and ride comfort but can cause excessive body roll. The ability to dial in the perfect spring rate for your driving style and track is invaluable for competitive performance.
- Is this a complete shock upgrade or just springs? — This is a spring-only assortment. If you don't already own PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks, you'll need to purchase those separately. Once you have the shocks installed on your RC car, this assortment unlocks multiple tuning combinations to optimise your suspension setup.
- Can I use these springs on other Pro-Line shock models? — No, these springs are engineered specifically for the PRO636400 MAXX® PowerStroke Shocks. Using them on incompatible shocks may result in poor performance or potential damage. Always verify compatibility before installation.
- How often should I change my spring setup? — Changes in ambient temperature, humidity, track surface, or your driving technique may all necessitate spring rate adjustments. Many competitive RC drivers experiment with different spring combinations at each event to optimise performance for those specific conditions. Having multiple options available is one of the key advantages of this assortment.
