- Part of the Blade 150 S Ecosystem — This ESC works in harmony with other genuine Blade 150 S components including the Spektrum receiver, brushless tail motor, and control linkages. Maintaining genuine components throughout your helicopter ensures optimal performance and reliability.
- UK Stock Availability — Wheelspin Models holds this component in UK stock (subject to availability), allowing RC pilots throughout Britain to source their spares quickly with fast delivery options including next-day service for many UK addresses.
Technical Performance
The BLH Dual Brushless ESC: 150 S is purpose-engineered for the specific electrical and mechanical requirements of the Blade 150 S RC helicopter platform. This ESC manages the brushless main motor, regulating current flow and providing the responsiveness necessary for precise helicopter control. The dual brushless designation indicates that this controller is designed to work with the helicopter's brushless propulsion system, delivering smooth power modulation essential for stable hovering and dynamic flight manoeuvres. The ESC integrates with the Spektrum receiver system found in the Blade 150 S, enabling seamless communication between the transmitter commands and motor response. For pilots maintaining their equipment, this is the specifications-matched component that guarantees the same electrical characteristics and control programming as the original factory installation. The engineering standards reflect Blade's reputation for producing reliable, flight-proven components for micro-scale RC helicopters.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this ESC compatible with all Blade 150 S variants? — This ESC is designed specifically for the Blade 150 S platform. To ensure perfect fit, match the part number (Z-BLH5448) to your helicopter's manual or contact the Wheelspin Models expert team who can confirm compatibility with your specific aircraft variant.
- What is a brushless ESC and why does my helicopter need one? — An Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) is the component that regulates power from your battery to your motor, translating transmitter stick inputs into motor speed adjustments. A brushless ESC is specifically designed to work with brushless motors, which are more efficient and longer-lasting than brushed motors. This ESC provides the precise motor control necessary for stable helicopter flight.
- How difficult is it to install this ESC myself? — Installation requires soldering skills to connect the ESC to your battery, motor, and receiver. If you're uncomfortable with soldering, many RC hobbyists bring their helicopters to specialist technicians for component replacement. Wheelspin Models can recommend experienced technicians in the UK if needed.
- What battery should I use with this ESC? — The Blade 150 S is designed to work with 3S LiPo batteries at 11.1V voltage. When choosing a battery, verify the voltage (3S), capacity (typically 450mAh for the 150 S), and connector type match your helicopter's specification. Wheelspin Models stocks compatible batteries including the E-Flite 450mAh 3S 11.1V 30C LiPo Battery and Spektrum options.
