Frequently Asked Questions

  • What shock sizes does the ARRMA Metal Multi Tool work with? — This tool is designed to work with 11mm and 15mm bore shocks, which are the standard sizes found on most ARRMA 1/10 scale RC trucks including the Kraton and Outcast models.
  • Which ARRMA RC models is this tool compatible with? — The tool is officially compatible with the ARRMA 1/10 Kraton 4X4 4S V2 BLX Speed Monster Truck (both Green and standard variants) and the ARRMA 1/10 Outcast 4X4 4S V2 BLX Stunt Truck (both Red and Gunmetal variants). However, it will work with any ARRMA vehicle that features 11mm or 15mm bore shocks.
  • Is this tool suitable for beginners? — Yes, this tool is ideal for beginners and experienced modellers alike. Shock maintenance is one of the most common tasks RC truck owners perform, and having the correct tool makes the process straightforward and safe. The dual-function design also simplifies your toolkit, making it easier to manage as you learn proper maintenance procedures.
  • What nut sizes can this tool adjust? — The multi-tool accommodates both 5mm and 17mm nuts, covering the primary fastening points on ARRMA suspension systems and shock towers.
  • Can I use this tool on other RC brands? — Whilst this tool is engineered specifically for ARRMA vehicles, if other RC brands use 11/15mm bore shocks or 5/17mm fasteners, the tool may be compatible. However, we recommend confirming compatibility with your specific model before use.
  • Why is metal construction important for an RC tool? — Metal tools resist wear, corrosion and deformation far better than plastic.
