Why is the Castle P-CC10900 ideal for high-performance aircraft?

The Castle P-CC10900 lightweight ESC for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft with telemetry and AUX wire is designed for pilots who demand maximum output without excess mass. Weighing just 187g with wires and measuring 106.7mm in length, this ESC fits seamlessly into high-performance airframes where space and weight are critical. Its 200A continuous rating ensures stable power delivery even under full throttle, while the internal BEC eliminates the need for external regulators, simplifying installation and reducing onboard clutter.

How does the integrated BEC enhance system compatibility?

The Castle ESC for 2S–8S LiPo setups with full telemetry compatibility and internal BEC features a built-in BEC that can be configured between 5V and 8.4V, supporting a wide range of servos and receiver systems. With a peak output of 5 amps, the BEC provides reliable power for high-torque digital servos and telemetry-enabled receivers. This flexibility allows users to tailor voltage output to match their specific hardware requirements, improving system stability and responsiveness during flight.

What telemetry capabilities does the Castle P-CC10900 offer?

Telemetry is a vital tool for monitoring system health in real time, and the Castle P-CC10900 supports full integration with Castle Telemetry Link modules for S.BUS2 and X-BUS systems. Pilots can track ESC temperature, input voltage, and receiver battery status during flight, receiving alerts for over-temperature, excessive load, or locked head speed conditions. These features help prevent unexpected failures and allow users to make informed decisions mid-flight, enhancing safety and control.

How does the AUX wire improve flight control?

The Phoenix Edge Lite 200 ESC with RPM output, governor gain input, and arming lockout key includes a white AUX wire that unlocks multiple advanced functions. Pilots can use it to adjust helicopter governor gain mid-flight, output RPM data to compatible gyros, or activate an audible beacon after an unexpected landing. The AUX wire also supports ESC arming lockout, preventing motor activation until a designated receiver channel exceeds 50% signal. These features add layers of control and safety, especially during setup and transport.

What programming options are available?

The Castle P-CC10900 programmable ESC with data logging, Castle Link USB access, and reduced weight is fully configurable using Castle Link software via USB adapter (included via coupon) or the Castle Link iOS App with a B-Link Bluetooth Adapter. Users can adjust throttle curves, voltage cutoffs, and AUX wire behavior, and access firmware updates at no charge. Data logging captures flight metrics such as RPM, voltage, and current draw, enabling post-flight analysis and performance tuning. Manual programming via transmitter stick is also supported for basic adjustments.
