Already a multi-award winning car in its own right, Slash 2WD has now had a power upgrade to give it the increased speed and performance only possible with the Velineon 3500 brushless motor and VXL-3s waterproof electronic speed controller.
Still featuring all the high strength fibre composite parts of the standard Slash 2WD, but now with extra heavy-duty telescoping drive shafts, brushless optimised suspension settings and a dual bellcrank steering system taken from the Slash 4x4 to help harness all that additional power! That makes the Slash 2WD VXL not just tough, but Traxxas-Tough! 40+ mph with 8.4V NiMH and 60+ mph once hopped up and using a 3S Li-Po pack - with great power comes great responsibility!
Seriously though, with the VXL3s waterproof electronic speedo, you have the ability to ease yourself into the fast lane, as it features 'EZ-Set' one button set-up and 3 setting options. You can begin with 50% power in Training mode, progress through Sport mode to full Race mode and then begin to experiment further with different gear ratios and battery packs - the sky really is the limit!
If we're talking of terrain, then Slash 2WD VXL has been designed to handle pretty much anything. In addition to the speed controller, all onboard electronics are either waterproofed as standard or protected against it in sealed containers, allowing you to drive this machine through water, mud and/or snow without worry or concern - how many other RC models can you say that about?
So, with features like the proven Magnum 272 sealed and ballraced transmission, Revo-spec Torque-control slipper clutch, Jato-spec adjustable steel turnbuckles, heavy-duty hub carriers & steering blocks, metric hex hardware throughout and independent oil-filled Ultra shocks to name but a few, the Slash 2WD VXL can truly be called feature-packed!

This model requires an 8.4V NiMH or 2-3 Cell LiPo with Traxxas high current connector and suitable Traxxas ID battery charger.

Here are a few things you may need to know about our delivery service.
- Delivery is to mainland UK addresses only. Some areas in the highlands may incur extra delivery charges as couriers charge more for these deliveries. If you live in the highlands or any outlying regions, please contact us before placing your order to confirm if we offer delivery to your area or if there will be any additional charges.
- To keep our customers as safe as possible, we’re only able to deliver products to your doorstep. We’ve made sure that our drivers can comply with social distancing guidelines while completing deliveries by knocking on the customers’ door and waiting at least two meters away.
- Delivery is included in the price of most products unless stated otherwise. There will be an additional delivery charge for orders under £50. The charge will be shown on the checkout page.
- We will deliver your order using either a next working day delivery service or within 2 - 4 working days, depending on the service selected. For next working day delivery, the cut off time is 12pm and goods are dispatched on weekdays only.
- We request mainland UK customers requiring the next working day delivery service to place their order before 12pm.
- For next working day delivery, we use DPD local and for the 2 - 4 working days delivery service we use Myhermes.
- Once goods are dispatched, we will email you the tracking number for the parcel. Please provide a valid mobile number so we can add it to the consignment so you can also get updates on your mobile phone.
- On listings where the shipping time states “Dispatched within 3 working days” those orders will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days.
